This weekend I competed with my teammates on Team Hanuman Strength at the USAPL Midwest/Central Super Regional. While we didn't all hit the numbers, we hoped to hit. We fought hard and we won the Midwest Team Crown.
I finished 9 for 9 with the help of one of the best handler in the business Brandon Hill.
I hit on
Squat: 292.5 Kg (645 lbs)
Bench: 160.0 Kg (352 lbs)
Deadlift: 285 Kg (628 lbs)
Total: 737.5 (1626 lbs)

Last squat session of my meet prep. I worked up to a nice and easy single at 249.5 Kg (550 lbs). I followed up the squat with heavy walkouts finishing at 705 lbs for an 8 count. I should have had someone else count for me. Honestly, I don't know how @christopher.thacker and @usapl275 are able to squat that much weight. I guess if that is my career goal I better get used to it.

I wore my Intelligent Strength shirt to rep Alex at Das Gym. His performance at IPF Worlds was gutsy. Due to injury he straight legged deadlifted 300 Kg (661 lbs). I was also happy because I was finally able to get a training session in with @doingjustdandee. He did a mock meet today and he crushed it.

I decided to break out my Lift 4 Life A7 for my final heavy cluster squat set session. Lift 4 Life helps kids in Zimbabwe learn the sport of powerlifting. Zimbabwe is a mess and learning a sport helps kids gain confidence in their abilities. Powerlifting is a low cost sport which makes it easier to conduct in the poor cities and villages of Zimbabwe.
Today I worked up to singles at 600 lbs (272.2 Kg.) The videos are of my 1st and 3rd singles. The last picture is of my dog who apparently wanted to lie on top of my sweaty shirt.

Here is my 2nd and 5th singles. Things moving decently. Comp plates feel heavy on the descent but on the way up they feel great.
