Full family day in the Forest.
Amber learnt to ride a bike! Testing on the new beginner's trail DirtSkool with Axel. And we saved two cute little ring tail possums on the main street of Lobethal! Lil fur balls are at a Wildlife Rescue Center now!

This last week Destination Trails has been working with Yorke Peninsula Council and T. and J. Harris Landscaping to develop a kid friendly bike trail at Point Turton in South Australia. This bike trail is a key part of the open space redevelopment which includes a state of the art nature play area, BBQ and revegetation program.
The mulch and plantings are yet to go in but you get the idea.
Thanks to Tim Harris and his local landscaping crew for doing a great job with our ideas. It's been a fun week!
Fully Fruita. Made it here in one peace. Just.
Last bit of fresh air and trails before making the big journey back home inside a series machines and buildings that will take me the otherside of this beautiful planet. Trains, planes and automobiles. Here we go!
One of the biggest logistical challenges is that i will be wearing the same set of underpants for the next 30+hrs 😜... despite all of our technological advances life is still quite often a biological experience!
See you later Europe! It's been fun!
So many amazing people at this World Trails Network Conference doing incredible and wonderful things. The future of trails is in good hands with sound minds.
A key take away thought for me and a theme for the conference is an African proverb.
"To go fast we go alone. To go far we go together"
