I started a build log (link in my profile), thought it would be a better place to share the upcoming project. Why? Well, I get to go more in-depth, provide myself a little motivation to document the journey, and I can reference back to it when shit hits the fan.
Oh and I wrote up a short little thing on how I ended up with the ol'goat and how the first camper came about. So if you're curious about how the first 2 posts on my instagram originated from, you can find out over there 👍
Get a cummins they say, it'll be fun they say. Been trying to sort out this godly death wobble. To make things worse, I thought I could get use to driving automatic....... nope. So I think I may post pone the lift & tires and just go straight to swapping in the ZF6 from the ol'goat into the little sheep.
Let me introduce you to Little Sheep! 🐑 Now it may not look as adventurous as the ol'goat once was, but give it time.. I got some plans for her. But man... last 2 weeks have been a crazy rollercoaster ride with highs and lows, and things just happening way to fast. Will get back to posting here once things settle down.
Exactly a year ago I left for the east coast seeking for an adventure, I finished my exam, grabbed my stuff, and just hit the road. But I guess in retrospect.... it was the ol'goat's maiden voyage and its last. Because today, I have to say farewell. Unfortunately due to an incident that triggered an in-depth analysis of whether or not it would be responsible for me to retain it in my life or not. The ultimate decision was that I should part with it (literally) and move on. I know the basis of my page hinders on this truck, so for those strict followers, I has you know that the version 2 camper (built spring 2017) continued to go strong. I appreciate all the support I've gotten over the years (s/o to @vanlifeideas for being a huge support), I thank you! I also dont want to make any promises for what may come after this. So I guess we both just have to wait and see what the future will bring ✌
