Truly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. @detontidinnerclub (and @bryanmcates) delivered in a big way. What an exciting time for our city to have such a unique experience at our fingertips.
Recently, I became the proud owner (nay, winner!) of this fabulous @staub_usa pumpkin cocotte (swipe to see the awesomeness), thanks to the good people of @jacksonmorgancream. So as a little thank you, I created this ridiculously delicious and decadent beverage that I call “Let It Snow.” Recipe in comments because you know you want it. #peppermintmocha#candycanedreams#sipandbesocial
Another superlative meal at @southernnational. If you haven’t visited yet, what are you waiting for? This cornmeal dusted shrimp with chickpeas is at the same time delicate and robust. I finally had the mussels (they sold out the last time and I can now see why) and was absolutely blown away by the combination of meaty shitake mushrooms, hearty greens, and succulent shellfish. And the broth... 😍
It’s small business Saturday, so think of local businesses when you’re making your list (and checking it twice). Items like these gold-leafed glasses by @elmdesign_ make perfect gifts for the hostess with the mostest in your life. Check out Lemon Baby’s gift guide (linked in profile) for some awesome Gulf Coast #smallbusinesssaturday ideas like @bienvillebitesfoodtour, @domkemarket, and more! 📷 by @elmdesign_
Another outstanding meal in the books at @southernnational. I absolutely love how each @chefdnutter dish is a riot of texture and flavor. No detail is overlooked. Mobile is so lucky to have this gem of a restaurant downtown. (Pictured: pimento cheese plate; beet and arugula salad; tagliatelle; seared scallops)
A few flakes of @maldonsalt1882 atop a smooth bittersweet ganache (which hides a silky salted caramel), all encased in a crumbly chocolate wafer crust. One Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Tart, please. Recipe up on lemonbaby.co today. #Thanksgiving
It’s beginning to look a lot like Thanksgiving. This is the second year I’ve used this tablecloth, and I absolutely love the pop of pumpkin orange against the blue and white linens. I tend to set the table the week before so I can enjoy it (and get into the holiday spirit) for a lot longer. Table is definitely not finished, but in the meantime, I’d love to hear what you do for yours!
