[Personal post] 🏃♀️How I welcome 2019! 😂 ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 📍 2018 has been the year of running, strengthening my management skills, making good and bad decisions, making mistakes (lots of them), welcoming new friends into my life, giving value to true friendship and working harder to achieve more and derive satisfaction from work. I don’t wish any better for 2019, and looking back, I need to say I’ve grown up quite more thanks to my family, friends and teams for believing in me and giving me time and advice (especially time). I believe we will all have a stronger 2019, but hey don’t forget to enjoy the ride. 🏃♀️🙏🏽💯 #PhnomPenh #Runner #Cambodia #Reflection #2018
This park means so much to me. When I am very stressed I would run, jog, and walk for 40 minutes to an hour. I often wait till the crowd clears toward 8pm or so on a busy day. Also, a regular runner can get free drinking water (mineral and alkaline) from my office nearby. 😂 #GreenSpace #PhnomPenh #Cambodia #GreenPark #Runner #RunnerKH #KHRunner #runnergirl #MyCity #Citygirl #SimpleLife #reclaimedgreenspace
Turning 30 years of age this year helps put a lot of things into perspective. It somehow made me question if I’m still part of “youth age group” 😂😂😬😬 Nevertheless, I was so stoked to be invited at the beginning of November by the National Youth Council that collaborates with Singapore International Foundation to participate in a week long ASEAN program where I spent time listening to great stories, speeches and making friends. Unfortunately I had to work in between sessions and most importantly the #OBS (outward- bound Singapore). As one of the 4 Cambodian participants, I appreciate the friendships and effort by all the participants and stakeholders involved. It happened so fast and before I realized it, it was time for a goodbye. I was amazed by the energy of these young (social) entrepreneurs, People Sector experts and civil servants and professionals from different fields. What I remember the most from the time I hung out with the other participants was that the room was always full of laughter. #ASEAN #Cambodia #Singapore #TakemebacktoSingapore
🎈[Personal post] • We didn’t have a lot growing up but appreciated little things we had. Be it fermented soy beans or veggie pickles that Mama made, @somalykeo was instructed to share everything with a younger one. When our youngest sister was born @keo.malen (of @cambofarm), we became 5 (siblings), and by a lot of standards it meant quite a big family already. One thing I grew up noticing was that Somaly was/is creative in her own way and takes her own time to do awesome stuff she likes, the quality I really like in my sister. While I am loud and jumpy, my elder sister is reserved and thoughtful. 📸 by Somaly #PhnomPenh #Cambodia #oneevening #oneeveninginPhnomPenh
