(Swipe left) So I boiled one of the packs of naturally colored rice vermicelli that my uncle bought for me in Thailand (please see my previous post). I boiled the yellow one and the color bled out. I’m disappointed that it only has a slight hue of yellow (swipe left to see it).

I blended tofu and seasoning in the food processor and cooked it with @followyourheart VeganEgg. It turned out good. It finally didn’t have that weird flavor. I didn’t like Anthony Bourdain that much for making negative comments about vegetarians/vegetarianism, even while he was chowing down on delicious meatless meals in a couple episodes of his shows. But I still watched his shows because I love learning about other cultures. Parts Unknown on CNN is great because it delved deeper into the history, culture, and current issues of the places he visited. I particularly liked it when he went to Asia and specifically Laos. Laos is a little known country and it was exciting for me to see images of my birthplace. Seeing him talk about the unexploded bombs from the Vietnam(/Southeast Asian) War that are still killing and hurting Lao people presently was truly heartbreaking, yet awesome at the same time knowing that he was telling this to a wide audience.
