I really should be tidying the house, think I’ll just sit here and procrastinate instead. It was back to routine this morning, school lunches and dragging kids out of bed. The struggle is real folks! #foreverfaffing
When it comes to artwork in our house I gravitate to flowers and still life paintings (no surprise!) while my hubby gravitates towards paintings with fish in them! Also no surprise given his marine biologist background I guess, though it makes for some unusual groupings 🙈. I’m currently winning the war of the mantelpiece with this happy gathering of two new paintings, one contemporary and one vintage that I’ve brought home recently. #whpflowerpower
This one has the world in her hands, so many adventures to come, roads to explore and journeys to take. Can’t wait to go exploring with her later this year, we’re booking a trip to Ubud at the moment. Hard to believe we live in Western Australia and we’ve never been to Bali! #WHPjourney
One of my favourite spaces in this house is the mantle in our sitting room. It needs a repaint desperately but the light is so lovely even in winter. Can’t believe we’ve been here for 18 months already!
These peonies were too luscious not to play with today. There really is no flower like them, don’t you think?
As a side note, we recently bought a piano (actually it was my hubby’s 40th birthday present from two years ago, but took us that long to get it 🙈) and since the piano has been in the house my husband has unearthed all these gorgeous old sheets of music I never knew we had. Just think of all the photos they could have featured in if I knew they existed earlier! 😏 😂#foreverfaffing#peonyperfection
