Had the best time assisting @rikkisnyder as she styled our old stone house this weekend for @houzz Now, if only it could look like this every day! 🤫

Spent the day in the mountains with @minjapower recharging at the spa, eating our weight in bbq, reading without getting jumped on by toddlers, hiking over boulders, and swapping stories by the mist covered lake. Omfg. I need more days like these! 🙌🏻

So thrilled for my dear friends, Mark and Anthea whose lovely café @villagecoffeeandgoods opened today! You can catch ‘Redaction’ hanging out there, too...

In graduate school, I wrote a collection of poems about women who were tried and burnt as witches at the stake. In the era of witch hunting, any imperfection on a woman could be used as evidence of a devil's mark, and condemn her to the fire.

The #witchtapestries is an evolution of my interrogation in to this dark history, where I weave ‘portraits’ of their smoke. It is a ghoulishly beautiful rumination on the women's lives and will hopefully lead the viewer to dwell on the fact of their persecution; how it was made so mundane and ordinary, and how women are still victimized today, albeit under different guises.
