Coming closer to Halloween I will be toying with darker more horror-esque concepts. Which, I guess, isn’t a huge departure for me 😜.

I’ve been dedicating weekly time to get personal projects done. I used to sit for hours on photoshop just for fun, but the more it becomes your occupation, the harder it is to come back at the end of the day and spend another few hours on something you don’t get paid for. But the best work is usually what you make when no one is looking. Don’t stop making things you care about.
Somewhere in the sunken city
I’m trying to get back to my own creative edits more often. A combination of client work (which I’m not always at liberty to post here) and chronic depression generally inhibit my sharing habits, but I spent a few hours playing over the holiday and this was the result. .
What do you think? Would you like to see more sci-fi/fantasy edits or more straight photography?
Some behind the scenes from a shoot yesterday with @roxannaredfoot @shaespades and @lowkey.jenna
I took mostly still photos and only pulled out video for a few minutes, but the light was soooo purty! 😍
@nataliesmallphotography is in there somewhere with a camera and @djsunshine23 did makeup. Fun times!
The city is alive
I haven’t posted in a while. I’ve been working on some fun projects, but, for whatever reason, choosing what to post stresses me out. I feel like I need to give someone a Dropbox and let them curate my feed for a while, otherwise I’m going to overthink everything. 😂 You don’t do that, right?
Into the unseen

This set was so much fun! @geeveejazz1 has dope moves—so expressive with shape and emotion.
Toxic, somebody spoke
Backs turned as if I were
Deaf as a doornail
(Isn’t that how they say it?)
No nurse or else, I think
The word of choice would be
Trigger pulled, somebody
Left me for dead
But that’s ok
Resilience is my middle name
Words go right through
I’ve been looking often
For an exit wound
But there is no exit wound it seems
It’s still inside of me
We shot a set of these mysterious pics and I just want to post them all! I love them. I will try not to spam. 🙂

@geeveejazz1 was a trooper, enduring cold water being sprayed all over her at various intervals and never complained. 🙂😜
From another part of nothing

Playing around with some lighting effects in photoshop. This isn’t hard to recreate with a few layers and a normally lit photo. Thinking about doing a tutorial.
Her words crashed against me
Like a surge thrown by a brooding sea
“I don’t want to be forgotten”
Well, darling, neither do we
But who can say how much glue
It takes to keep you in the memory
Of a place like this?
Of all the things that’ve swirled
Around the waves in this vast expanse of being
Never a thing like you washed up before
And never again will it be seen
However many grains of sand
Slip silently between these hands that
Once upon a time held you
It will be said, and every neuron will agree
There is no forgetting you
So please don’t forget me

Straight out of the camera! Not really. Bronte patiently posed in a variety of odd positions to get what I needed for this one. The henna, bracelets, and skirt was added in post since we didn’t have the items on hand.
My fingertips and my brain
The world morphs
From a cavalcade of quarks
Into a phenomenon
A hurricane of feels
A serene ocean of being
That singular thing
They call “me”

From some street photography we did today in NYC. The weather was divine, and it was wonderful to reconnect with friends.
