I fell in love when I Studied Ancient societies, Particularly Medieval Japan.
My favorite Ronin was Miyamoto Musashi, Born a Ronin, son of Shinmen Munisai (Samurai), was a master swordsman in 1645 Japan. Miyamoto was an undefeated Ronin.
The brush stroke "O" in Ronin means ZEN. Zen is the peace that comes from being one with an entity other then yourself, living in the present, and being in the flow of the universe.
The brush stroke on top of the "O" means "War". I have found Zen through many years of hard war in all aspects of my life.
Being a Ronin SUCKED NO ONE WANTED TO BE ONE. The Ronin is an individual, and works entirely by himself. As opposed to large groups of warriors such as Spartans, Christian Crusaders, Mongols, Vikings, etc.
I believe that at the end of the day you’re totally on your own and that we are forced to become individuals. (Well, at least that’s how I’ve experienced life...) #TheModernronin
