More pics from Melissa's visit! We got to go white water rafting through the Royal Gorge! Now I can say that I've been across the Gorge via the infamous suspension bridge, I've been through it by train, and now I've been through it by rafting on the Arkansas River. Awesome experience and I'm glad I got to do it with my bestie!
Melissa, I'm so thankful for your friendship!! Who woulda thought we'd remain great friends after being college roomies and getting on each other's nerves all the time?! Maybe we can't live together, but dang our friendship sure has blossomed in our adult years and I'm so so grateful! You're amazing for coming to visit me in Colorado 2 years in a row! I love you mucho, and I'm already excited for next year! 😘🤗😘🤗
Handsome husband of mine, oh how I love you so! You are my world, my love, my everything. I adore you, cherish you, and love you more than there are words to express it! You are such a strong person, inside and out. I'm so proud to be your wife!! Today you turn 29, officially the last year of your 20s! I predict an incredible 29th year of life, lots of changes and growth, both personal and for us as a team. Our marriage gets stronger every day, and I love that I get to be by your side on this birthday and all future birthdays! I'm so glad you're mine!! I love you, honey! And happy birthday, my super sexy husband!!! 😍😘🤗😍 #damnilovethisman#myhusband#illforeverbeyouralways#youaremyfavoritehuman
We knew bears were back on our mountain, but until today, no encounters with them. Damn bears pulled my bird feeders off the tree! The handle on one was broken off, and it looks like it pulled on the other feeder to make it spill the seed. Ugh. And, this happened in daylight while we were home!! Neither us or our 4 dogs heard it go down...sneaky bear. Scary! #destructivebears#bearseason#mountainlife
Not pictured but also made is the buttercream frosting. Yum. Best batch I've ever made, and we didn't even get to eat any! I made these for our neighbor down the road who requests a batch every other week 😅 #HomemadeCinnamonRolls
The first thing I've ever shot and killed! I love feeding the birdies and squirrels and have been for quite some time. But today, this one became quite destructive to our property. So without hesitation, I grabbed my .22 and got this guy with one shot from about 20 yards away. Hit it center mass. Sorry lil dude, but you crossed a deadly line today.
