Visite el museo del Memorial 9/11 en Nueva York. Comparti el dolor de todas las personas afectadas, al leer las historias , ver fotografias y escuchar las voces de las miles de personas fallecidas en las exhibiciones . ——-
“It was like everyone suddenly knew what mattered. Money didn't matter. Politics didn't matter. Tabloid news didn't matter. No-compassion mattered. Calm mattered. Respect mattered. Did it really take something of this magnitude to make us realize this?” ― David Levithan, Love Is the Higher Law
Holdfast to what is lovely, what is true , go boldly after the things, hope has set the heart to do. Find light in little things
seek joy in new terrains
welcome signs of growth and be forever changed.🍂
-Morgan Harper Nichols
Sometimes we get given the opportunity to make a brave choice. A choice , to surrender the things that have been great , in exchange for something greater. It’s here a soulful, lively , wholehearted boom-boom -heart out of the chest , tears on cheeks, I’m alive , kind of passion lives-it lives, just around the corner from surrenders bend.
Maybe we're not supposed to be happy.
Maybe gratitude has nothing to do with joy.
Maybe being grateful means recognizing what you have for what it is.
Appreciating small victories. Admiring the struggle it takes simply to be human.
Maybe we're thankful for the familiar things we know.
And maybe we're thankful for the things we'll never know.
At the end of the day, the fact that we have the courage to still be standing is reason enough to celebrate.
