🚨⚠️🚨#tiptuesday alert featuring The Dumbbell Bench Pullover! !!
This movement focusses on using the TheΒ latissimus dorsi(lats), which is a large back muscle that fans out from your upper arm bone to your spine and then extends down to your hip bone. 
To begin this movement- hold the dumbbell between your hands in a lock position. Lower yourself to the bench where both the shoulder blades and head are resting on the edges, hips should be kept up and in alignment with the core keeping it engaged throughout the movement. While keeping your arms straight, lower the weight slowly in an arc behind your head while breathing in until you feel a stretch in your lats. Hold for a count of two and then return slow and controlled while exhaling to the starting position. Grow your wings team!

This exercise is tried and true but easy to preform incorrectly. Every movement in the wall ball should be powerful, quick and most importantly-controlled. On the left the movement is being preformed correctly with good flow, on the right there is bowing, poor hand placement and concentration of the target.
How to perform: Start in a standing position about 18 inches away from the wall and find a target about 8-10 feet from the floor on wall. Hold the medicine ball at chin level and then front squat it. The upwards(or concentric) motion of the squat is when we use an explosive hip drive to continue into a push as we throw the medicine ball at the target. After fully extending you should defend back into the front squat position while simultaneously catching the ball.
