This is View B of the #fringedresspattern from @chalkandnotch

I had a few hiccups with this dress😶

First I tried to line the bodice so I drafted it as an extension from the facing and it came out too short widthwise so I had to cut it out. During construction I forgot the put the waist ties in the front like I originally wanted so I doubled the length of both straps and inserted them in the back. They are as long as all get out but I like the wrapped effect. For now🤔. Then I accidentally sewed the skirt inside out and had to unpick tiny, almost imperceptible, stitches. I was so afraid of ripping the fabric but we made it!🤗 I'm such a newb 😧.

.
Notes: Fabric is light denim colored cotton voile chambray purchased from @fabricmart last year (Yay stash!). I used the wrong side of the fabric for the ties.
I added a 1.5" fba to size 10 and made sure the waist was at least 39" around to be able to get it over my bust without tearing the whole thing apart. I straightened the curved hem line and used the skirt portion from size 18. The dress has a tendency to pull backwards on me so I think that means I need to start putting a forward shoulder adjustment on my list of necessary pattern adjustments. All that said, I'm so happy with it!😚👌🏽
