Happy Warrior Women Wednesday my Soul Sisters💕 💕💕💕 Today we honor Coco Chanel as our warrior woman! Even though there are aspects of Coco that goes against my Feminist views, I was really able to connect with this quote and speaking our truth to honor our courageous self. 🙌🏻 So in what ways are you being courageous today my soul sisters? 🙏🏻 . . . . . #ifccounselingservicesllc #therapy #warriorwomanwednesday #women #soulsisters #cocochanel #cocochanelquotes #feminist #feminism #brave #courage #strength #resilience #socialwork #inspire

Good morning my Soul Sisters and Misters! 🤗 So due to the holidays, I had taken a little break from my Warrior Women Wednesday posts to really allow myself to be present with my family......but now I’m back🤘🏻 🙌🏻 So today we honor Phylicia Rashad as our warrior woman! She is an actress, singer and director, but the real reason I picked her today is because of her female empowered quote. 💕 Society unfortunately encourages women throughout their lives to be competitive, compare and judge one another. I’ve had many clients come to me and share their experiences of back stabbing, being talked about, comparing themselves and most of this was being done by a “friend.” This is a dynamic that exists in many relationships and it takes an active (and mindful) choice each time you engage or connect with other women to allow yourself to be authentic, vulnerable and receptive. To allow ourselves to say “Hey, I’m imperfect, but my journey is my own and I don’t have to compare that to anyone else.” ❤️ That when we(Women) all come together, it truly is when magic happens. 🙏🏻 So today as you enter your workplace, gym, home, etc., look at the other women around you and ask yourself how do we build each other up versus tearing each other down?
Happy New Year my Soul Sisters and Soul Misters🤗 First day of 2019🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻what story are you going to write for yourself starting today?
A great read (in my opinion😂....I’m a bit biased, but check out my blog at my site) as we say Adieu to 2018 and welcome with compassion, empathy and love a wonderful 2019 ahead of us. Have a safe and Happy New Years Eve from my family to yours🙌🏻🎉🎉🎉🎉 . . . #ifccounselingservicesllc #therapy #life #goodbye2018hello2019 #sheboss #socialworker #inspire #loveyourself #resolutions

Happy Warrior Women Wednesday my Soul Sisters and Misters🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 🤘🏻 Ok so today I was really feeling the need to focus on some more body positivity and so I came across this quote and thought “yep, @khloekardashian is our warrior woman today.” 🤗 She is a successful business woman, TV reality star and body positivity advocate! What’s even more beautiful is that she has encouraged through her clothes (sizes and styles range for all body types) and her openness about her own weight struggles a healthier understanding and kindness around how to embrace ourselves based on our own standards- not someone else’s. ❤️ So today, how will you honor your body and nurture your positivity? . . . . . . #ifccounselingservicesllc #therapy #warriorwomenwednesday #warriorwomen #khloekardashian #cosmopolitan #sheboss #bodypositive #loveyourself #socialwork #proudofmyself #womenempowerment #embrace #innerpeace #love #happy #life
Happy Monday my Soul Sisters and Misters🙌🏻
Always needed on an early morning with my fabulous clients🙌🏻
Today we honor those 26 precious lives that were lost, but never forgotten. As we continue to grow each year, we find new beginnings, new opportunities and new ways to cope with the grief. For the past 2 months or so, I had been attending a Shavasana yoga class and my instructor had recently shared this mantra with me, which I found fitting for today🙏🏻 . . . . #ifccounselingservicesllc #sandyhook #neverforgotten #lifeisprecious #grief #fighthatewithlove #loveall
Happy Warrior Women Wednesday my Soul Sisters and Misters(we can’t forget about you guys💙) 🤗 Today we honor as our warrior woman, Helen Keller. 🙌🏻 She was the first deaf-blind person to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree and later went on to become an author, political activist and lecturer. 💪🏻 For me on a personal level, I chose her as the warrior woman today because her character and life story exudes perseverance. She attributes her strength and character to many of the hardships and struggles she had to endure. A beautiful lesson that I am trying to learn from every day. 💕 So as you go throughout your day, ask yourself this: “What life experiences (good and bad) are molding my character?” . . . . . #ifccounselingservicesllc #therapy #life #warriorwomenwednesday #warriorwomen #brave #helenkeller #embracethestruggle #hardshipsmakeyoustronger #socialworkerlife #moldyourself #learn
Happy Warrior Women Wednesday my Soul Sisters and Soul Misters💕 💪🏻 In honor of Hanukkah this week, I wanted to highlight a very special warrior woman, Regina Jonas. 🙌🏻 She was the first woman to be ordained a rabbi in 1942 and continued to perform her rabbinical functions before her death at the concentration camp in 1944. She was not acknowledged as the first woman to be ordained a rabbi until the East Germany archives had been found after the Berlin Wall was knocked down. 🕎 “If I confess what motivated me, a woman, to become a rabbi, two things come to mind. My belief in God’s calling and my love of humans. God planted in our heart skills and a vocation without asking about gender.” 🙏🏻 So today as we reflect upon our warrior woman, I would like to wish you all a חנוכה שמח (Happy Hanukkah)! . . . . . . . #ifccounselingservicesllc #therapy #warriorwomenwednesday #women #womenempowerment #reginajonas #happyhanukkah #rabbi #warrior #brave #embrace #cherish #honor #socialwork #soulsisters #godsplan #teachlove
Happy Monday my Soul Sisters and Misters! Go out today and make your moments count🤗
Happy Warrior Women Wednesday my Soul Sisters and Misters! 😍 So recently I did a little research into women that should be recognized in history and came across this warrior woman, Elizabeth Peratrovich! 💪🏻 She was a civil rights activist, spent her time advocating for the equal rights of Alaska Natives and her efforts ultimately contributed to the territory’s Anti-Discrimination Act of 1945 (which had been the first one established in the United States). 🙏🏻 As I read more about her, it brought up the question for myself of how do I use my efforts and time to advocate more? 🙌🏻 So as you start to wind down from your day and find a quiet moment for yourself, ask yourself “what more could I be doing with my efforts?” 🤗 . . . . . . . . #ifccounselingservicesllc #therapy #warriorwomenwednesday #warrior #elizabethperatrovich #womeninhistory #herstory #empoweringwomen #advocate #life #embracechange
