Notice the I’m sitting on the block allowing me dissociate the hips better. You will also see the blocks stacked right behind my lower back. Often times students will round out the lumbar or hinge back instead of moving through the thoracic.⁣

Right after a Kettlebell Single Leg DL I would choose the trap bar. In my opinion it is the best option for most people.⁣

I am a huge fan of this exercise for so many reasons. There’s a ton of options to change the intent of the exercise too. Very humbling to coordinate the movement your first few times.⁣

Try doing this for 12 reps with a reset every time or even holding the start position and just pressing without the step. Substitute this instead of doing bench press to see how it feels. ⁣

Our industry truly has some amazing people as well as some horrendous things.⁣
⁣
There is a reason @markowtrainingsystems programs are 8 weeks and we tell everyone true change won’t happen until the 6 week mark and that’s not guaranteed. The best things take hard work and consistency.
