"Though this be madness, yet there is method in't"
Our cohort has been working for the past year on our second year production of Shakespeare's most famous play, Hamlet- Prince of Denmark.
It would mean the world if you came and supported the show.
Whether you're a Shakespeare buff or disgruntled friend supporting the cast, please book your tickets!! https://tafeqld.eventsair.com/acting/the-tragedy-of-hamlet-prince-of-denmark
so incredibly proud to see so many incredible artists doing their beautiful artist things, especially great when your friends bring home half of the awards (i know I look naked in this photo promise i’m not) ((congrats to Patty and Peter for their amazing work, well deserved of praise))
now that my sister (and personal insta photographer) has so kindly decided to move away for 10 months, all of my pictures are just going to be uploads of older pictures- here’s one of me running hamlet lines waiting for a rail bus.
i’m a fully 3 octaves lighter than family, further making people think that I am not really related to my beautiful tanned kin (also happy birthday @seb.howie) ((also two more days before @maddehowie leaves me for England))
For the people catching the train who are unaware, if a woman (or anyone for that matter) has their headphones in, it is a clear indication that they don’t want to talk to you- it is not an invitation for you to talk, wave your hands, gesture or POKE THEM IN ORDER FOR THEM TO GIVE YOU ATTENTION. This is harassment, and it makes everyone feel very uncomfortable and sometimes unsafe when you continually provoke someone who doesn’t want to engage with you. So don’t. K thanks xxx
The revolution hit me like a fucking brick wall! Words can’t describe how not only fantastic, but IMPORTANT shows like THIS ARE. Powerful shows with powerful women talking about powerful issues with powerful words. As a an actor, as theatre goer, as a feminist, as a woman, as a PERSON- I implore everyone to see Lysa and the Freeborn Dames while it is in theatres.
