With this move, I have not been eating the best😅 Its been a lot of quick meals on the go for the last few weeks since most of our kitchen stuff has been packed up, and just the thought of cooking was just too much. So pizza and beer it’s been 🤣

But thankfully, even on my worst days, I am still flooding my body with over 30 fruits, veggies, and berries, and getting the nutrients I need!

Also, I’ve included omegas into my daily routine, and I am LOVING the results 🔥 These are really helping keep my joints happy & healthy with all the loading & unloading of boxes.

So grateful for these babies to help me stay in optimum health when life gets busy!

Lately, I have been feeling a little down about things that are really out of my control. I am focusing more on the future than on the now. I am letting the pressures of societies and people’s opinions dictate my life, and that’s why I decided a few days off social media would be good for me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Of course I browsed, and didn’t completely unplug, but a few days without stressing about blog posts, or followers, or likes, or all that other silly nonsense us bloggers stress about.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I just really wanted to focus on what’s important, and be in the now. To be okay with accepting your wins, and your losses, and learn how to grow from them, and be humble. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So that’s exactly what I did, I allowed myself to only focus on getting moved in, and getting my life organized again. Thanks for understanding guys, it’s appreciated. 😘

I don’t even recognize that girl. Partying all the time, eating junk, hardly sleeping, I was so broken and just trying to fill a void. No goals, no motivation, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life when I graduated from high school. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I just knew I never wanted the party stop. I swore I was going to be a traveling gypsy & go to every music festival, and work whatever job I could to get me there. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And then one day, I just woke up & I was over it. I was over poisoning my body, I was over hating what I saw in the mirror looking back at me, I hated the anxiety I would get when I needed to go buy clothes because I hated the number on the size tag. I was living a very unfulfilled life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So I did something about it, slowly but surely. It didn’t happen over night folks, this is 6 years in the making. The highs & the lows, and the plateaus. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A little progress each day adds up to big results 💕

Well guys, we did it... Brandon & I moved in to our very first place of our own 🏡

Day 2 of my October happiness challenge ☀️: Make some art 🎨

This one took me a little bit to think about. I have never really been keen to painting or drawing. I know I am very creative, but not gifted when it comes to my artistic abilities.

But then I thought about it, and I create art every day. I love cooking and piecing ingredients together just perfectly to bring out certain flavors. I love setting up the display just right for the picture perfect plate. 🧡

So today I decided to whip up some delicious pumpkin protein pancakes using my French vanilla protein from Juice plus 😋

I welcome October with big, open arms. I’ll be honest, I couldn’t wait for September to end. It was a crazy month. A rollercoaster of emotions. I can definitely say I was all over the place, and not using my time & energy wisely. I was drowning in stress & anxiety, trying to earn not one, but TWO promotions, and stay on top of school work 😭 AND we are house hunting.... oh my lord. I can honestly say I will never do that to myself again.

I have set new goals for October, one of them being to stay organized, and plan my time accordingly. Sometimes you have to sacrifice the things you want, for the things you need. Some of my Friday’s will be spent staying in and studying, but that’s okay, it’ll be worth it 😉

Although, hard work does indeed pay off, like earning an A on a math exam you thought you were destined to fail or reaching that promotion you were staying up all night thinking about, there is a much more efficient way to go about doing these things without sacrificing your mental state 😅

I want to make October a month full of happiness, and a little less stress. On my story, I’ll be posting a challenge for each day 🌈 I’d love for you to take part, this starts tomorrow! Keep an eye out!

I used to have a fear of eating alone. Like I would rather starve then go out and pick something up for myself for fear of judgement.

I had such a terrible mentality, I felt like everyone was watching me & judging me on what I would order. And even when I did work up the courage to go order some take out, I would recite my order over & over again so that I didn’t mess it up at the drive thru window🤣

What a terrible and toxic relationship I had with food at one point in my life. I still have my days where food is the enemy. I become obsessive, and have to tell myself to calm down. My whole day would revolve around it. Every meal and snack planned out precisely, down to every calorie🙄 ugh just talking about it makes me exhausted. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Anxiety puts crazy thoughts into your head sometimes doesn’t it? I’m so glad I’ve learned when to tell my inner voice to stfu, because I was missing out on so much! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Like for example, my boyfriend was out of town a few weeks ago, I was craving Greek food, so I treated myself out to dinner, BY MYSELF, and enjoyed this delicious falafel salad. It was so nice to just be there by myself without the stress of feeling like everyone was watching me!
