Studio glazing with students.
Its been a while.... So much happening on social media in the ceramic community. It has learned me that Instagram is a really powerful tool.
I Just finished a week long course teaching at Skals Hojskole for Craft and Design. I also did a morning talk about cups and the new Skals Cup 18.
We have had a great time in the group. My Aim is to bring on as much of my knowledge about ceramics as possible to the students. They have all taken a week out of their life to dedicate to the Højskole and learn about ceramics. I’m honored they chose me as their ceramics teacher. The last day we managed to go on a little field trip to @skovgaardmuseet to se their fabulous little ceramic collection and to do the last glazing at my studio and have a nice fika here, while we did our evaluations on the course. And the students made a beautiful exhibition to show their work, to the other students at the Hojskole. All in all an intense, interesting, creative Hojskole week.
Im in the States 😃 CUP for SALE 😊
I have this cup with me, and took it for a trip to a local cafe in the cozy Brooklyn where I’m staying. Send me a message if you’re interested.
Hugs from Brooklyn #cafemartin
Look up 👀 .....
Visiting the City of New York with my family. I went here in the eighties and it was a very different experience. The city wasn’t so safe as today. Went to see the ground zero. Today there is only one trade center..... because of 9/11 😢 my uncle used to work in the World Trade Center, and he took me here. #citylife#onetradecenter#newyork
