I spend way too much time feeling shitty about my running. “I’m not fast enough. I’m not good enough.” This weekend in Chicago was not one of those times, even though it was one of my slowest races ever. Why? Because I learned less than 1 percent of the world will complete a marathon. And I’ve run 12, and my running buddy texted me congrats seconds after I crossed the @ChiMarathon finish line and reminded me it’s a huge accomplishment in and of itself. Much thanks to @nike for an unforgettable race weekend 🖤.
My race recap is up on healthandswellness.com ✌🏼.

From not being able to run for one minute a decade ago to running my 12th marathon this Sunday in Chicago. The amazing thing about running is that it helps you realize you’re capable of things you once considered impossible 🖤.
Beyond overwhelmed and honoured to be one of 100 women running @chimarathon featured in this campaign. From non-runner to Nike billboard as a marathoner on Michigan Ave. More details on healthandswellness.com. See you at the course tomorrow!
