EPIC ROAD TRIP PICTURE TIME!!!
if you drive north from Banff, you’ll find your self in Jasper, Alberta. A HUGE national park found in the Canadian rockies. Vast wilderness home to glaciers, lakes and peaks. We only spent a few days driving around here, but from the sheer size of this place you could easily spend weeks upon weeks and still not manage to see a fraction of the area. 🇨🇦🏔🚙💨
Would you take the leap? 🧜♂️💦
We sure didn't... 😅 it was FAR too cold and we forgot our swimming gear 😏.
But we did enjoy a leisurely walk around Glacier National Park's Lake Josephine - you can't deny that view is 👌.
We've since left Canada, but without forgetting to take some beautiful pictures and bring home an abundance of incredible memories ⛰️📸.
We were unfortunate to wander whilst the clouds were amongst us but this left an amazing eeirely still lake...
And I loved every moment!!!
Let me introduce to you the abundance of beauty that Canada has to offer.
This is Athabasca Falls in Alberta, the blue colour is glacier run-off and is mesmorising to watch flow through these vast gorges.
After sooo much hiking and exploring, this place still surprised us with so much natural beauty! 🗺️😍
I can't even think of a good enough caption for this picture 🙈!
But Bemidji - Minnesota is an absolute goldmine for views like this! And It's still 20+°c.
To think that we were driving over this lake last winter whilst it was completely frozen over.
Welcome to Snowdonia! The playground for those adventure seekers from Wales 🏴. Today we swam, paddled and gorge walked around these wonderful streams and made the very most of our day with those close friends! 😘
Sometimes when you head in to a new city, no plan can sometimes be the best plan. And as testament to this, we ended up in St. Stephen’s Basilica - you can’t really miss it, its HUGE!
And for a small fee if you’re brave enough to climb the 364 steps, you experience an astonishing view over Budapest 😍
This weekend, myself and Soph decided to join some friends camping at the Lake District - England. And whilst up there we enjoyed walking the largest mountain in the England - Scafell Pike.
8 hours later, we made it back down alive, only just! But captured some pure sexy views 😍 !
As we ventured throughout Romania, we stopped off at a quaint little city called Sibiu. Bustling with fancy restaurants and beautiful buildings left me feeling a little out of place in my shorts and t-shirt and Toms. But the friendly people and beautiful pictures made it all worth while 🤩 .
After so many days backpacking, it’s good to stop once in a while to enjoy the view 🤓.
So here is me sitting of on the Danube river in Budapest with the spectacular view.
As crazy busy as this place is, it’s a must visit city with loads to do.
Saying that, we mostly strolled around and consumed our body weight in food 😚. Wouldn’t change a thing!!!
After spending some days wandering around Prague, I remembered that a friend of mine urged me to go see the BONE church. So we jumped on an early train and went to check it out.
The result? An unbelievably eerie place to see 😨.
Urban myth has it that a partially blind monk was entrusted with the care of the chapel had become a little crazy. That so he decided to use the over populated graveyard to decorate the church interior with the bones of over 60,000 deceased people.
We wanted to make our way to Budapest but every hostel was fully booked for the weekend. So we made an impromptu visit to Gyor - Hungary for a couple of days. And super happy we did, this place was so cute! Gyor was beautiful, sunny and really photogenic 📷😍. To top it off it wasn’t bogged down by tourist traps 🙌🏼 WOOP!
Sexy as heck view, right?
This is the river which runs through Prague called Vltava. And my favourite time too - sunset 🌅 ! What an awesome view this is after a huuuge walk around the town 🙌🏼.
Oh, and that there in the distance is Pražský hrad (Prague’s Castle).
Auschwitz and Birkenau - The largest of the German Nazi concentration camps and extermination centers. Over 1.1 million men, women and children lost their lives here.
We had a tour around the remains and learnt of the horrors that happened within these fences.
Really hits home the savagery that occurred in these camps to real people, just like me.
We’ve been exploring Poland recently and filling our camera with pictures of these stunningly colourful buildings 😍.
Here is the Bell on Kanonia built in the 17th century - this has never hung in any church due to the Bell cracking before being fitted. But local folk lore is said that if you circle the bell three times, it will give you good luck 🍀
