I know it’s not December yet and we are still shaking off thanksgiving’s hangover but we are having a party and it’s my birthday and sometimes you need to plan ahead and Evan Flory-Barnes is plotting a night that should probably be recorded for future generations to behold. So plan accordingly.
I had a great Black Friday - headphones on, trench coat buttoned, wandering the streets of seattle looking at architecture and people and construction sites and all different types of beauty. It was wholly satisfying and I didn’t spend a dime. I think I’ll make every Black Friday a feast for the eyes.

It’s a bronze chamber that threads into a slab of 10” thick granite. From afar it’s pretty discrete, on close inspection it reveals an infinite pattern of color and light.
It’s easy to get overwhelmed and depressed and distracted. So I started putting signs up around my house to remind me to keep dreaming big dreams. We got one shot at this, and maybe it doesn’t work out, but I’m keeping my eyes on the prize and I’m shooting for the stars.
