I don’t know about you, but sometimes I notice people have “disappeared” from social networks and then I am really excited when I see them again. I’m more curious as to what they have been up to.
If that’s the case.. here you have it! 🌿☀️ I’ve just realised I didn’t post for more than a month now while I was traveling and exploring new heights however I am recharged to countinuosly serve the most adventurous and inspiring people all over the world - ‘Get Your Spirit Out’ community which has grown enormously.
As India 🇮🇳 celebrates its 72nd Independence Day, I want to post this beautiful temple gateway in Vrindavan.
What freedom means to you?
Many people paid tributes to those who fought and made the supreme sacrifice to free the country from the British Raj.
Every country has it’s own HEROS and I salute every single one of them! 🕉🙌🏻
Great cities, they say, are ones that grow around a river. India is no exception. Delhi was built around #Yamuna and Kolkata next to #Hooghly . 💦
Join me on my travels at @getyourspiritout and get inspired by the hidden gems of India. 🇮🇳
The Great #Himalayas Mountain ranges is the world's highest mountain range and home to planet's highest #Mountain peaks.
The Himalayas have a profound effect on the #climate of the Indian #subcontinent and the Tibetan Plateau. They prevent frigid, dry winds from blowing south into the subcontinent, which keeps South Asia much warmer than corresponding temperate regions in the other continents.
Age of Kali 🙉 (The Iron Age)
Hindu cosmology views time in vast cycles lasting hundreds of thousands of years, with phases of light and #darkness corresponding to the level of #spiritual awareness on the planet.
According to the #Hindu scriptures, our current age, known as #KaliYuga , is one of spiritual darkness, #violence and hypocrisy.
What are the qualities of Kali Yuga?
The scriptures say that during the 432,000 year age of Kali, #humanity deteriorates and falls into barbarism:
Humans begin to kill #animals for food;
They fall under the spell of #intoxication (alcohol, drugs, gambling, ect.);
They lose sexual restraint;
Families break up;
Women and children are abused;
Political leadership falls into the hands of unprincipled rogues, criminals and terrorists, who use their #power to exploit the people;
The world teens with fanatics, extremists and spiritual artists, who win huge followings among a people completely dazed by hedonism, as well as by cultural and moral relativism;
Possessing #wealth is considered a sign of good birth, proper #behavior , and fine qualities;
Law and #justice are determined by one's prestige and power;
Nations are continually at #war with one another;
There are many #beggars , and widespread #unemployment ;
Merchants operate #corrupt businesses;
#Diseases , rates, and foul substances plague the populace;
Everyone uses #vulgar language;
People are without #joy and pleasure;
Many commit #suicide ; and many more.
Kali-yuga is so saturated with vicious habits that there is a great fight at the slightest misunderstanding.
According to A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, those who are engaged in the pure devotional service of the #Lord , who are without any desire for self-aggrandizement and who are freed from the effects of fruitive actions and dry philosophical speculations are capable of getting out of the ocean of birth and #death .
🌸🌸 HARE KRISHNA 🌸🌸
“In this age of quarrel and hypocrisy the only means of deliverance is chanting the #holy name of the Lord. There is no other way. There is no other way. There is no other way.”
There’s a great saying: ‘An India tour is incomplete without a visit to the Taj Mahal’. Here’s a list of the 7 most interesting facts about The Wonder:
1) It is estimated to have taken more than 22,000 people to build this impressive building including labourers, painters, stonecutters, embroidery artists, and many others;
2) More than 1,000 elephants were employed to transport the construction materials used to build the Taj;
3) The full height of the Taj Mahal is 171 metres (561 feet);
4) Built in memory of the Emperors third and most favourite wife Mumtāz Mahal, the Taj Mahal took 17 years to be completed;
5) The Taj Mahal takes on different colouring at different times of the day, from a pinkish hue in the morning, milky white in the evening and golden at night when lit by the moon. They say the changing colour resembles the changing mood of females - in particular the Emperor's queen;
6) According to legend it is believed that Emperor Shah Jahan had planned to construct another Taj Mahal in black marble on the other side of the river but the war with his sons interrupted his plans;
7) Many precious stones were ripped off from its walls by the British during the Indian rebellion of 1857.

Do animals have souls?
Yes, say the Hindu scriptures.
Every living being, from the animals down to the insects and tiny organisms, possesses souls. Like humans, they are also beings, subject to the laws of Nature and the cycle of births and deaths.
We may consider them ignorant, but they have their own language and intelligence. They perform an important duty in creation and occupy an important place in the manifestation and evolution of life.
Treat animals with kindness and respect! 🦌🐄
