For the first time ever I've documented a before and after for a nutrition challenge that I've put myself through. I've never much cared about the physical changes outside but more about the performance changes inside when doing these challenges and thus never took photos. Because as a competitive athlete (football,crossfit) the exterior doesn't matter if it doesn't perform excellently. No one cares about a chisled guy who can't outlast his opponents. If you don't believe me ask the NFL Hall of Fame voters when David Boston is getting inducted (Google him). Anyway, I think its cool to see the changes that only take 30 days. To me, I'm noticeably leaner on the right after the Whole 30 challenge. My slight love handle is tighter and my abs are much more pronounced without any flexing. I've probably dropped 1/2 a body fat percentage point as well without any changes to my workouts or training. I've also had no negative changes in performance during my workouts. My body has sustained the ability to push hard anaerobically and aerobically when I've needed it to.
Glad I joined in with my @gamereadyfit clients on this nutrition and fitness challenge. It was a tough 30 days but I'm all the better for it.
