Trying to stay calm and remember what it felt like being stood right here looking at the most incredible waterfall and seeing a rainbow at my feet. 🌈 A couple of weeks ago, I watched someone very special to me, seemingly slip away... she didn't and she's ok 🙏 but it has triggered a bit of an existential crisis in my mind. I don't believe in any religion (I wish I did), so I can't shake the feeling that I'm running out of time. Running out of time to keep up with everyone I love and be a good friend/daughter/sister/girlfriend/granddaughter/cousin/etc. Running out of time to achieve everything I want to in my 20's. Running out of time to see the world before travel becomes more of a challenge 👶🏼. Running out of time to figure out what I actually want to do with my work. Running out of time to get through my to-do lists every day. Running out of time to reply to my messages, emails, accountant, and when am I ever going to get around to sending those thank you cards? LIFE. I know a lot of people feel this way, and I also know how insanely privileged I am in every respect. I don't usually share anything too personal, but in the interests of being open, honest and real, I just wanted to share this jumbled mess of thoughts and feelings. To try and keep in control of this paralysing feeling, I've taken up running again as it really helps to clear my head. I'm also realising now more than ever, the importance of standing still and embracing the 'now'. Whatever is happening around me and in this crazy world. All we have is right now. Do you ever go through phases of feeling paralysed by life? What helps you? #IWishICouldMeditate#perspective#existentialcrisis#whatisthemeaningoflife
NEW VIDEO 🏙 A #travelvlog of our time in LA ✨ click the link in my bio to watch it. It was probably the highlight of our #californiaroadtrip for me, I love love LOVE Venice. My only regret is that we only managed to fit in one Eggslut visit.
Sorbet terraces in Notting Hill 🍬 Keeeyute 👌🏼some pictures from a gorgeous weekend in the capital on my blog today ✨ feeling somewhat... overwhelmed today with a to-do list stacking up and a completely messed up body clock since we got back from America. Anxiety levels currently being raised by frequent animalistic noises coming from the other room. I guess the football's on then...😒
Whale Tail 🖤 absolutely loved our trip yesterday with @discoverywhalewatch I can't recommend these guys enough. So awe-inspiring to see these beautiful mammals out in the wild. The ocean here was 2 miles deep... my brain cannot comprehend that. 🐋 @seemonterey @visitcalifornia #dreambig#visitcalifornia
Well THIS was exciting!! This morning we went WHALE WATCHING in Monterey with @discoverywhalewatch We we're incredibly lucky to see these rare Baird's Beaked Whales. Very rarely seen because they dive and hold their breath for up to an hour at a time. The Marine Biologist on board was super excited as he'd never seen these in his 25 years in the field. I guess it was our lucky day ✨ my videos from the whole California Road Trip are coming as quickly as I can edit them and going live over the next few Sundays. I'll also be doing a write up and sharing my tips on each place we stayed. We're flying home tomorrow and I DONT WANT TO LEAVE 😩💔 Thanks for an awesome trip @discoverywhalewatch @seemonterey @visitcalifornia #visitcalifornia#dreambig
ALSO had to have delicious chowder at Fisherman's Wharf and walk along the pretty Cannery Row in Monterey. Such a pretty place, I hope to return soon! #whalewatching#travelblog#travelblogger#californiaroadtrip#california
Our little cabin in the woods ❤️ We spent last night in Big Sur, making s'mores on our camp fire and drinking red wine 🙌 we had some zen wifi free time and hiked 6 miles to the beach. We stayed at Riverside Campground which I'd highly recommend for anyone who loves the idea of camping but not the reality. This little cabin had a comfy double bed, a fridge, a toilet and sink, and the shower was next door. 🙌
