Funny story, I traded a lovely maker from the last market I vended at a plant hanger for all this neat looking cord (she gave me three big spools), then I brought it home and realized it's not cord, it's caning, made for creating chair seats. I want to make something with it but I'm a bit stumped, it's more stiff and rigid than what I normally work with but I'm open to suggestions! Anyone out there have experience with caning?! #whattodo#whattomake#caning#idontknowhowtocane
Just had to reshare this, sometimes life hurts, sometimes it doesn't, but no matter what I'm trying my best, and doing my best. I love when people ask me questions about my invisible illness, but I dislike when they try to advise me on how to get "better" your stretches, and exercises, your concoction, or elixer, or the vitamin you sell (biggest pet peeve don't try to use someone's illness to pad your paycheck) will not cure what ails me, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome has no cure, but you better believe I will do everything I can to feel as well as I can for as long as I can. I appreciate the good intentions and If I ask for advice please chime in, but until you've lived a day in this weird body of mine, you have no idea what it takes sometimes to just exist. #ehlerdanlosawareness#edsmonthisover#awarenessisnt#invisibleillness
