Lunch time it is!! 🥪🍞🧀This time I made a tosti from the pan; so easy! 🙈 Fill the wholegrain / brown sandwiches with ham and cheese. Then coat the two sides of the outside with mayonnaise. Place in a pan, and bake both sides until they are golden brown and the cheese has melted. Enjoyyy! ❤️

Lunch time! 😃 It is now -6 degrees Celsius and it feels like -15 degrees Celsius, brrrr...❄️❄️. That's why I decided to get fresh brown bread😇. I cut the sandwich in two pieces, smeared both sides with margarine and put them on the grill until they were golden brown. In the meantime I cooked an egg; I did this in the pan when the water boiled and for 7 minutes. I pulled the buns from the grill, put turkey fillet on it, lettuce melange, egg and then pepper. Hmmm...🤩

Salad time! ❤️🥙 Today I made a salad of 1 sweet potato from the oven (peel, cut into pieces of 1cmx1cm, 20 minutes in preheated oven of 200 degrees Celsius), 1/2 avocado, 4 cherry tomatoes, 2 tablespoons black beans, 2 tablespoons of corn, 2 pieces goat cheese, 1 teaspoon of balamico vinegar and I added ground pepper. I love this combination! What is your favorite type of salad? 🙈

I'm back! ❤️For those who do not know me yet: my name is Abbey. But you may also name me an experienced eater. This is shown by the following calculation: 365 days x 19 years x 3 meals per day = 20,805 meals. And then I have not even taken the leap years and the fact that I am getting older every day. Now I tell you who I am, I have to be honest so 3 meals per day is actually 5 meals that I eat a day. Conclusion: 34,675 meals that I have eaten in my life. Okay, let's keep it to 100,000 meals I've eaten in my life ... I've been offline on Instagram for a while; this was because I was very busy with school, work, and social life with family and friends ;-). You can probably confirm it: food is the best thing that exists? Of course I like eating food, however I also find it interesting what food does to us. I turned that interest into a daily study. After completing my pre-university education, I chose to study Nutrition and Dietetics at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Now I am in my second year of study and I have chosen the direction New Product Management. Here I learn, for example, which processes have taken place with the food we end up consuming, in which way this can improve, marketing and so on. Later, I want to work in this field. Voilà! The reason why I activated my account again. I do like it and I really missed sharing delicious recipes with you. Recipes that are easy to make, are not expensive (handy for a poor student like me) and also (relatively) healthy! 
For a good start I will share this delicious lunch with you. Set the oven to grill mode and preheat to 200 degrees. Then you made a wholemeal sandwich with philidelphia combination with chives, 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, salmon, capers, tomato and red onion and a wholemeal sandwich with tuna (canned with olive oil), cheese, tomato, red onion and capers. Grill for about 5 minutes at the top of the oven. If you want, you can add some salt en seasoned pepper.

BTW, I havent told you yet what my breakfast for this morning is (maybe u will understand it😏) IT IS oatmeal with banana and pure chocolate 😁🐒MY FAVORITE BREAKFAST!! We were in Utrecht yesterday to enjoy a delicious lunch and delicious (and very many!) tarts. It was a very successful day, and it is so nice to meet people with the same passion! The tasty food must continue of course, so I put 125 ml of low-fat yogurt, 2 tablespoons of muesli, half a mandarin and a half block of 90% dark chocolate in each of these jars. Do you want a jar like that? I bought it (in Utrecht yesterday☺️), but you can also use an old jar that contained, for example, jam or peanut butter! And another tip from me: you can also put in your muesli, nuts, seeds and more, which is a great way to store your food! 😺

MADE BY ME // Lieve volgers, het is ochtend; jullie mogen eindelijk ontbijten! (wedden dat je daar gisteravond aan gedacht hebt? 😌) Deze bofkont kan deze week lekker eten op Sicilië; dat kan maar een paar dingen betekenen: pizza pizza pizza pasta pasta ijs ijs = rollend naar huis 🙌😂 Maaaar ... helaas heb ik daarom geen tijd om lekkere receptjes te voorschijn te toveren 🔮✨😢. Vandaar deze kleine throwback naar deze wentelteefjes met vers fruit, zodat je die (voor het ontbijt) alsnog kan maken 👇🤗🙌
Ingrediënten:
Boter (om in te bakken)
1 ei
125 ml melk
1-2 flinke snufjes kaneel
Genoeg voor 5 sneetjes volkorenbrood ⋆
Bereidingswijze:
Laat de boter smelten in een koekenpan en laat goed warm worden. Meng het ei samen met de melk en kaneel in een (diep en breed) kommetje. Dep het brood per één stuk in het mengsel aan beide kanten. Bak het brood in de koekenpan tot beide kanten goudbruin zijn. Ready to top!!! Met bijvoorbeeld aardbeien, frambozen, blauwe bessen etc!
Btw, je kan ook wat honing aan het beslag toevoegen, maakt het net wat zoeter, maar wel weer een stukje minder healthy👀

Bake the bread in the frying pan until both sides are golden brown. Ready to top!!! For example, with strawberries, raspberries, blueberries etc!
Btw, you can also add some honey to the batter, to make it sweeter, however its a bit less healthy👀
