A jumble of carvings on the workbench outside of my home studio. Many of these may not be painted until the end of the upcoming winter. In the summer I demonstrate carving at my Ithaca Farmers Market booth #3 , which I think of as my outdoors summer studio. In the winter I paint summer’s work and work on completing commissions in my humble two car garage indoor studio.
Just put the base on a new Feed Me Now Cat piece. It’s one of two art pieces that are meant to hang together - one facing right, one facing left. I haven’t finished the other one yet. Next, on to painting this one! Stay tuned!
It’s that time of the year again, when I am starting to gather commissions for my indoor winter season. The piece shown was commissioned last winter by fans who live near Moab, Utah. It shows their pond, pet black swan Alger and a nearby red butte.
