Travel Tip: find a padded case to put your oils in and then you can add them to your luggage without worrying about them breaking. I found this one online and I use it every time I travel. I bring full bottles of the oils I use daily and I make up some roller bottles for common concerns on vacation (Digestive, bugs, after sun...etc). Everything stays safe and ready to use when needed 😉
If you look up “picky eater” in the dictionary you should find my kids picture there! I was surprised when my daughter asked for sushi when we went out for dinner. Since we are at an all inclusive resort I agreed to her request #notspendingafortuneonfoodshe willdeny
So she tried it and #loved it! It was just cucumber, crab and cream cheese but after fighting with them at every meal I was grateful she found something that she was happy to devour 😂
This isn’t a travel tip post but before I left I had to get a new mascara because I have had my last one for too long. I found this cute one from #tarte that helps lengthen the eyelashes too! Of course I added a drop of lavender to help it last longer and helps encourage healthy lashes 😉
My first travel tip... use the OnGuard sanitizing spray..everywhere! We sprayed this on our plane seats, tray table, arm rest, hands... hands... and hands. Seriously when you travel you are exposed to constant germs, this will be your life saver! You can use it to provide extra safeguard in your hotel rooms and bring it with you when you go for dinner to excuse those unwanted pathogens 😉😂
Today I leave for a week long vacation but I will be educating on my trip about the oils I have brought with me and why 😉 I also wanted to answer a common question that I get asked... “can I travel with my essential oils?” The answer is YES! You can bring some oils in your carry on, just bring a plastic bag to put them in. I usually keep most of my oils in a travel case and put it in my luggage and will bring oils I might need on the plane in my backpack or purse. .
Anyone have any questions about essential oils and travel?
Time to focus on immunity! We are traveling soon and I want everyone’s immunity to be boosted 💪 So I have been diffusing powerful oils that will achieve this goal! OnGuard contains cinnamon and clove which are high in antioxidants that support healthy cells. When your cells are healthy it is hard for unwanted pathogens to take over! Anyone know about Arborvitae? This oil is from a tree that can literally protect itself for many many years even after the tree has fallen. Not only is this a great oil for your immune system but it is also great to use for a bug repellent! .

How in the world did I get a bug bite UNDER my shirt? It has been so incredibly itchy! I was scrolling through posts this morning and came across a post about someone using the detox mask to help stop bug bite itches! Good thing I have some on hand! My kids were concerned why I was putting it in my side and I told them I would be putting it on them too if they ever got a bug bite! 😂
My kitten has a bad habit of jumping up on the counters (if my hubby sees this he will say it’s my fault because I *sometimes look the other way). In my defense, he doesn’t like to drink water from a dish and only likes it from the faucet (yes I have tried the fountains, he doesn’t like them) so I let him jump up to get some water. Anyways, I have started cracking down on this and I will remove him from the counter when he jumps up. Today... I am hoping he learned his lesson because he jumped up near the stove that was on and he singed his whiskers (you can see them curling under a little). Luckily that is the worst of the situation and I hope he has learned that jumping on the counters can be dangerous!
Time to go back to basics this morning with coffee brewing. We always buy the coffee maker that grinds the beans but they always seem to break after a year. I think I like using the French press better anyways 🙋♀️ Anyone else use a French press?
I meet people every day who crave the knowledge of essential oils and how they can help with our health concerns or just to live a healthier lifestyle. Today I am getting ready to teach a class to a group of people in my local area who want to learn how to use essential oils safely and effectively for their needs. If you live in the East Bay, CA, send me a message and I will keep you updated on my upcoming classes!
