Heading back to London today but had a really great time with my brothers! We wrote a 420 musical in 8 minutes, you’ll see it off broadway, ate tapas, wore sequins, danced to Chicago, caught up properly all together for the first time as adults, sat by the beach and ate arroz negro which was laced with sneaky octopus, enjoyed Nik’s culinary skills and soaked up some rooftop views!
It’s been a wild and beautiful year and decade! I’m so thankful for the challenges that have pushed me to grow, the people who have inspired and encouraged me, the incredible varieties of landscapes I’ve explored, bizarre conversations I’ve heard on city streets, the places I’ve worked, embracing self-worth, living in NYC and finally returning across the Atlantic to be closer to my family. I am eternally grateful for the incredible friends I have made and for my mother, her partner and my brothers. It’s been amazing to reconnect with my roots and I feel more strong than ever. I’d advise anyone to follow their heart and to never compromise their integrity, life is short, nurture yourself and your community, even if you’re far away. It really makes life rich and beautiful, even at times of chaos or calm. @whatlisalovesnext @niksarge @sargeantmuel
When I reunited with the filmmaker, Sanj, creator of the award winning series of short films called “Hambulance.” Never have I been more star struck, I most likely embarrassed myself! #hambulance#downdereham
