A major highlight of my time in New York City was the three semesters I got to spend studying US Taxation under the guidance of Professor Michael Cohen at Yeshiva University.
With a career of 25 years and counting at the US Department of Treasury’s Internal Revenue Services (IRS), Prof Cohen shared with us his unique perspectives on proper Tax planning, on best practices, on communications with Tax authorities, and on President Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act - as it was unfolding. An incredibly insightful professor, who has rendered simple an otherwise very complex subject.
Studying American Taxation, in New York City, as the biggest fiscal overhaul since 1986 was taking place has been nothing short of exhilarating.
This challenging, rewarding and immersive academic experience could not have come trough without the moral support of my dear friend @eitanelul and my dear mentor @valmyteberi to whom I remain indebted and grateful. 🎓🏙🇺🇸
