With Weka Mau Wahu Island
Acrylic (poor photography)
Mau Wahu is an island on a lake with a lake on the top of it. So it's a lake on a lake.
Weka are native to New Zealand they're a cheeky flightless bird. They love to steal food from your picnic as they run past.
They live in pairs having one chick at a time. They won't have another chick until that chick leaves home.
Introducing myself to all my wonderful followers. It's good to put a face to a name. (Maybe lol)
