Update: -
Still in hospital awaiting surgery to have plates and screws wacked into my right ankle (medical terminology). looking like I'll be out of here on Thursday with a long ass recovery period 😣

I had a dislocation, ruptured tendon and a spiral fractured fibia all on the right side. This is obviously hugely upsetting to me and my future plans with body building and our business over the coming months as @fitruth.nz and i had planned to do the @nzifbb pro/am early next year

(your body breaks down carbohydrates into glucose  and stores it in your muscles as glycogen for muscular fuel, fat loss will not occur until glycogen is Depleted as your body will always resort to using glycogen over burning fat) -

from low carbs & cardio so i decided it was time for a refeed or what I like to call a 'super saturation sunday'. Saturday I doubled carbs at dinner and Sunday I consumed 750+ grams of carbohydrates from different sources - the result of this was my muscles pulling in extra glycogen and water replenishing energy stores and lowering the hunger hormone ghrelin. The pump was so unreal it hurt πŸ˜‚

Back to normal diet Monday and morning fasted cardio & back in a fat burning state by Wednesday morning (today). Super fizzed for comp day in 6 weeks!
