Taste wise they're like the little packet pancakes you may see or buy in your local supermarket, normally fluffy but a little on the dry side. Well, the filling in these immensely helps with the dryness. They taste great 😍πŸ₯ž.

Great little alternative to most low cal protein snacks around. Super handy for on the go. Or with a cuppa tea β˜•πŸ˜‰πŸ‘Œ. I have to give it to @nanobcaa for creating something different to the million protein bars on the market right now. In a world where people feel the need to alter and stretch their bodies on a screen to look 'better' in photos to people they don't know... I'd rather be real and not have to add to the daily stresses of life whether or not to add and extra millimetre of curve on my bum this week and will my followers notice, or stuff my bra with socks or tissue for a photo to add to an illusion of symmetry. I'd much rather show my wrinkles, dimples and stretch marks than have to keep up with which one I smoothed out yesterday πŸ€”.

I've never had curves. EVER. Even when I was overweight πŸ˜‚. I have always been straight as a pencil. The only way I've started to actually add some 'curves' is with weights and a lot of patience. Do I feel the need to add them with a click or two or ten though? No πŸ™…. Did I look at this photo and find fault? Yes. And although I could, did I feel it's necessary to change it? Never. This is me πŸ’. Nobody cares if I slim down that tum or curve that bum. No body. πŸ’πŸ’πŸ’.

Monday motivation. If only the girl on the left knew not to worry or be so sad, that she'd have changed her life and her body in only a few years. That she'd have found a new love in bodybuilding and competed in 2 national shows, that she'd have stopped binge eating and not only avoiding mirrors but taking selfies in them. That she would have stood proud in a gym/public place with a sports bra or crop top and not only displayed proudly her stretch marks but ACCEPTED them. She wouldn't have laughed. She would have cried her eyes out.

If you're struggling right now... I can't tell you enough if you just put in the work you will get to where you want to be. I can't stress enough for you to stop hating yourself right now and start loving yourself for the person you're about to become. I struggled. So much. I cried daily. I know how hard it can be but I PROMISE you if you really give it 100% ANYTHING is possible.

Fat rolls? Stretch marks? Who honestly cares 🀷. I'm bulking πŸ˜‰πŸ˜πŸ˜‚. I have been since October. I've put on  12kgs since stage weight and stayed the same weight since January. I'm not 100% happy with my body but I'm 95% and I'll take that as a WIN πŸ‘‘.

Other 5% accounts for the usual female mentality of 'Do I look ok?' πŸ€”, depending on emotional state e.g. time of the month or whole week leading up to it πŸ€—πŸ˜‚, or just the mental battle of ever putting yourself on a prep/diet and being once at the best physical condition of your life and then having to adjust yourself back to the reality of knowing it's not maintainable. That 5% creeps up. Rears its ugly head but it's manageable because I'm human, not currently on prep and know better to expect different while having the occasional donut or 2. Or 3 πŸ’πŸ˜‚.

I think with having done a long bikini prep I know the amount of hard work and great nutrition it takes for your body to look at its best and feel at its best, I know what I need to do to get there.... with that comes a great sense of comfort. Knowing I've been there. Done that. Knowing what I need to do if I want that again. And I do (Autumn 2019 πŸ™πŸ™ŒπŸ‘™), Just for now it's time to grow πŸ’ͺ. Could I bulk 'cleaner'? Probably. Could I be stricter on myself? 100%. For now though it's not necessary for me.

If your other half is genuinely your best friend you will never feel unloved, uninspired, unmotivated or unhappy ❀. We lost out on a weekend at @bodypowerexpo and a lot of money. Due to driving over a nail on the road 3 hours from the airport and a very delayed roadside assistance truck #theluckoftheirish πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‚. Oh catch the next flight? That would have been an extra €300 minimum so after a night of sitting in a car trying our hardest to change the situation, we decided we had been stopped πŸš«πŸ˜‚. Did we stress? A lil πŸ˜‚. But not at eachother, and we're both what's meant to be is meant to be type of people so that's always a help πŸ’.

So we changed plans. Drove to Belfast. Booked into a hotel and spent the weekend eating, exploring and having a laugh πŸ‘ŒπŸ™Œ.

Just wanted to share these little videos because it's something I do get asked. I don't get asked alot of things πŸ˜‚ but this is the one i do get asked alot. How I managed to learn pull ups and chin ups πŸ’ͺ. .
1) Chin ups are much easier than pull ups so always start with them. Aim for these first πŸ™Œ.

2) Bodyweight... it sounds obvious but so many people don't realise that the lower your weight, the higher your chance of pulling your weight up πŸ€—. Sounds obvious but sometimes to some it isn't. Look at these videos for proof of this. I am 9 stone 2 as I stand today. I was around 7 stone 10 in those videos. Today I did 3 sets of 3. Then I did 3/4 sets of 10/12. 😍πŸ’ͺπŸ˜‚.

3) Back all day long. Strengthen it 😍πŸ’ͺ. I may not have very strong glutes 😭... but I have a strong back. Really focus on the pulling motion, don't just go through the motions. Mind and muscle. Connect it πŸ™ŒπŸ˜™.

4)Exercises that I used to help me were Lat Pull Downs, Smith Machine Inverted Rows, Close Grip Pull Downs. Also: I never used a resistance band. I didn't really use the assisted pull up machine either. No need πŸ™†.

5)Buying a €10 door frame pull up bar from Argos or Tescos. Use it everyday. (Your body will adapt to whatever it thinks it needs to do daily... so if that means you show it you need to do a pull up every evening before bed, it will adapt).

6)Using a chair at the start. Get one. Stand on it. Grab the bar and lower yourself slowly off the chair onto the ground. Repeat everyday, 3/4/5 sets of 10/15/20. Trust me. It feels stupid but it works a DREAM πŸ’ƒ.

This is all what worked for me personally. DISCLAIMER I am not a PT. Just someone who wanted to do pull ups badly. Focused on that goal and achieved it. πŸ™ŒπŸ’ͺ. Hope this helps someone 😘.
