I chose these photos because these remind me to always be thankful to my dad for sheltering me the most cheerful moments and for letting me feel how special I am as the one and only princess of the family! Indeed, since I was a kid, he has been a superhero to me.
My childhood memories are still vivid to me because of the moments that have transpired between me and this main guy. I always remember how he would always carry me into my bedroom whenever I get to fall asleep in our sofa. I always remember how he would often put me into his arms whenever I would feel tired and sleepy in malls, churches or wherever we are when I was still a kid. I would remember how he would consistently sing to me a lullaby just so I could take a wonderful rest at night -- and these things are my favorite memories, not just because it was plain and simple, but because I always love the thought of my innocence being shared with the care of my dad. That's why, this picture reminds on how he is always firmly ready to catch our family whenever nothing's seems to be at the right place. Without fail, his love is a picturesque on how the epitome of a father's love is certainly one of the superlatives in life, and though life has been arduous, I thank him for inculcating in myself that there will always be that one guy who's always promising to look back at my childhood days and carry me again and again just so I could feel the kind of pleasures I had before. HE IS ONE OF A TOUGH GUY -- AND THANKS FOR BEING THAT KIND OF A MAIN MAN. I LOVE YOU, DAD...A LOT, TO THE BIGGEST ONES AND TO BITS.

"Almost everything in life comes naturally unexpected, and the only weapon is your toughness. So, be prepared"
These were the powerful words of my dad when we learned that he has diabetes. Although sadness dominated our hearts, my dad became still as he uttered those words. My dad has the perseverance and toughness to fight every struggle just for the sake of our family. No wonder, why HE IS BEST!!! Moreover, this is my favorite photo of us as this was our first biking experience together.
I remember the day my mom told us... "Nak, mataas sugar ng dad mo. May diabetes na siya sabi ng doctor"
These were the words of my mom when my siblings and I went home from school. Knowing that my dad is already diabetic, we thought it would turn our world upside down because it was the main cause why our grand mom died. But genuinely, dad is so strong. His health condition did not become a hindrance to him.
Thereupon, I'm proud that my dad is sporty and brave. Since from the day we found out that he has diabetes, he is persistent in fighting against his condition from which; he never forgets to take routines of dumbbell lifting, boxing and biking. In consideration that exercise is highly recommended to lower down his blood glucose, he needs a healthy body to maintain. Hence, we do biking activities together. This has been our bonding experience for two years now, I suppose. This is how I make him feel that I am with him to fight for his battle. After all, I got his back!!! Who would have thought that the little girl he taught how to bike will be this strong woman who'll be his biking buddy 10 years after?
I am so happy that his daily routines are substantially effective said by his doctor and occurring to good results. He's so strong to face everyday with insulin just to check and keep track on his blood and sugar. He is fighting just doing it for himself, but also for us; his family. And yes, that's what makes him the world's best dad! ❤️ TO MY BEST DADDY -- I AM PROUD OF YOU AND DESERVE NOTHING BUT THE VERY BEST. STAY HEALTHY 💪🏻 #DadsWisdom#EmpireEastElite

My mom is the #BESTMOMEVER because she can be a superhero in her own way. Unlike any typical superheroes, my mom does not have capes, instead, she has her biggest heart to wear matched with a simple apron as she saves our tummies from hunger. -
My mom may not have invisibility powers but she has the invincibility to defeat the fears in our hearts. She would always protect me like a hero as she has the most powerful hands to wipe away my tears and whisper: "It's okay baby, I'm here, nothing's gonna hurt now." -
My mom may not have the power to fly, but she has the capacity to soar me high. When everyone's pulling me down, she certainly knows how to lift me up. She has instilled within me the courage to stand up ten times after falling down eight times. -
And lastly, my mom may not have the power of teleportation, but definitely, she has the ability to guide me on the right track. Whenever I feel lost like a mess, she is always there to show me the right from wrong as well as the good from the bad. And for that - I know where I am supposed to go.
With these dimensions -- my mom has been will always be the BEST MOM EVER!
Mom, you have the most loving and forgiving heart by which your love for us never fails.
You manage to be a stronghold mother who never fails to carry us in life even if we are burdens at some point. You never saw us as a heavy rock to lift even if we are already putting too much pressure on your shoulders, thus, you still embarce us whole heartedly as if we are not a pain in your neck. We may have given you uncountable lowest of lows moments but you still make us feel as if having us is your highest of highs. And for that, we thank you for the continuous love that inspires us to be better each day.

My mom and I recreated my favorite moments with her around my city. When I was still I kid, I had many fears. But, each time that my mom will hold my hand, those fears easily fade away. She would always hold my hand as we stroll in whichever places we go to. She would always cheer me up whenever I feel sad as to how much she knows that food makes me happy. Most importantly, she would let me discover new things even if it means impulsive adventure. ❤️❤️❤️ @pttphilippines
