For me food is not only life but it is a source of pleasure. I love to eat it, cook it and share with my friends. One of the things I hated most when my gut was at its worst was always worrying about what foods I could and couldn’t eat. Nobody should live that way. ⠀

Well it’s official! I have walked a total of 799 km in 36 days. What an adventure it’s been. I’ve met many, many wonderful people, laughed, cried and every emotion in between. I now know I can tackle anything that life throws at me. It’s pretty tough to back up day after day and keep walking but it’s been a trip of a lifetime. I am looking forward to the relaxing part of my holiday with my family. 😘

I often get asked how long it takes to heal the gut. The answer of course depends. - how long have you had the issue, what’s your diet like, how’s your sleep, how’s your stress level, are you exercising? After 30 days of walking I’m finally at a place where I can post a video. A snap shot of my beautiful walk today. It was so cool and peaceful. Seriously get out in nature sometime over the weekend it will make you feel a lot less stressed and a lot more grounded. Forgive my hair it’s tragic from wearing a hat for the last 30 days 😳
Don’t feel like changing your health you have to do it alone. We all need support along the way. That may be something as simple as saying ‘good job today, you are making progress’ or let’s get back on track tomorrow’. Do you take support when it’s offered? I know I have really struggled with this.
