•[Anna]• Amber, the kids and I had a fun day trip to Saugatuck planned for today, but Mother Nature had other ideas. 🌧⚡️ Then, my poor Charlie girl tested positive for strep throat. This mayyy be the most “Monday” Monday we’ve had in awhile! 😆
•[Amber]• One of my pregnancy craving has been Superman ice cream. I believe today is day three of indulging 🙄 Is it true that Superman ice cream is just a Michigan thing? If so, there are a lot of people missing out. We really hit the jackpot tonight...we found some with cookie dough pieces in it! 🍨🍦🍭
•[Anna•] It was 450 degrees outside, one kid cried the whole time and the other kid is super PO’d we had to leave early because said kid cried the whole time. HOWEVER, I got to eat a deep fried corn dog and half of an elephant ear, so I’m still considering it a win. 💁🏻♀️
•[Anna]• My last piece of dining room artwork is due to arrive this week (we’ve been impatiently waiting on it for months 😩) and I was so excited to FINALLY share our dining room remodel with you guys. Anddd then in typical Anna & Alec fashion, we decided yesterday that we hate our floors and now they’re being refinished next weekend. 😆 Does anyone else feel like their home projects never. ever. end?! 🙋🏻♀️ #neverendingstory#idothistomyself
•[Amber]• Our rainy Sunday afternoon was spent at the Flint Children’s Museum. Lots of fun stuff to do for kids. Leyton had fun in the sticker room with her Daddy. Thanks for the recommendation, Anna! 😊
•[Anna]• Refueling after our trampoline park date with the kids-these toddlers are so hard to keep up with! 🤪 Naturally, Amber I showed up wearing matching black and white stripes, matching forehead pimples and barefoot babies. 🤷🏻♀️ •
I’ve been loving @kitchfix products lately and this granola is seriously yummy over berries and @kitehillfoods plain yogurt! ❤️
•[Anna]• I spent some time last night being emotional and filling out Cash’s @promptlyjournals. If you don’t have one, I SO highly recommend them! These are much different from the baby books I had when Charlie was little, and I actually purchased a Promptly Journal for her too since they go from pregnancy up to age 18. They have the best prompts, like “words your child mispronounces” and “how did you spend the holidays this year?”. I’m being reminded for the second time how fleeting it all is and I want to remember every bit of it! ❤️
Cash is so in love with his @drinkinthebox! Head over to the blog to check it out, along with the rest of my top Amazon Prime picks for toddlers! •
Tell me, what are your favorite Amazon buys for your kids?!
Does anyone else feel like they’ve been celebrating America’s birthday for two weeks now?! •
With Alec being on vacation for the past week, we’ve been alllll over the state doing things with the kids that we don’t always get to do as a family. We’ve had so much fun, and the kids have loved having him home, but I’m SO ready to get back to our normal schedule tomorrow! Happy Sunday, everyone!
