Here is another painting from 2 years ago. I was thinking about flowers and the stone bridge between Cedar Lake and Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis. Its a beautiful spot with lily pads and large carp roaming through with the city of Minneapolis in the background. What does this painting maks you think of? Its 22x28" - acrylic on canvas
Wondering Bobber - 2016
I want to post a few more of my paintings from 2 years ago (before I was on IG). I spent a lot of time fishing as a kid in lakes and rivers and was always fascinated when I would see a random bobber floating around. Where did it come from? How long has it been here? Is there still a fish attached to it? Does this painting make you think or feel anything or stir any memories? It's always fun to hear what people think 😊
Untitled 2016. I spent much of my time as a child playing around (and sometimes in) lakes, ponds and forrests during an era before electronics when a child could be away for hours in perfect freedom of nature. This painting reminds me of my childhood as I thought about spring, cattails, redwing black birds and emerging flowers when I made this. I had less confidence back when I painted this and used sidewalk chalk to finish it. It measures 22x28". Does this painting remind you of anything, or make you think of anything in particular? If so, please let me know in the comments. Thanks! 😊
When We First Met
This a painting after the first session. I was excited to continue work on it, but my wife insists I leave it as is. I told her she can pick one to protect and I get to destroy the rest 😂
I wonder what it reminds you of, or makes you feel?
Buy prints and help raise money for charity. This January I am selling prints of my Taipei Rain painting and will give 50% of proceeds to the Red Cross. These are 12x16" prints on aluminum board. I am offering them for $95.
Please DM me if you are interested. Take care.
