If 5000 years living history doesn't attract you to visit Cairo, then I don't know what will ❤.. ok, ok, not to mention the tasty food 😄

Which one looks better: the one on my t-shirt or the 'breathing' one? 🐪😄

My Cairo mornings ❤
My Cairo mornings ❤
,,Daiana, why do you like Cairo that much? You’ve already been there, why do you come back?''
I heard these questions many times from both my Romanian and Egyptian friends. I answered them every time: it’s very simple!
.
I don’t see the dirty, noisy, crowded side of this city, neither I come back for its touristic attractions (which anyway I’ve been to them several times already). I love this city/ country for the people I’ve met here and I am immensely grateful that I have amazing friends around me each time I come here, very helpful and kind. And I am even happier that my parents could meet all of them and know my Egyptian friends!
.
So, you see, it’s all about PEOPLE <3 They make me come back each time!
Any other foreigner will come as a tourist to Cairo, for few days, take some photos and leave. But I lived here almost 2 months and my feelings for this city are different of anything a tourist might say they like this city. I don’t like it, I love it. Maybe that’s why I talk about it so passionately. I really hope every foreigner/ tourist will get this vibe… and if not, just call me to be your local private tour guide 😄
.
Cairo gave me a bit of everything in only 2 months there, but the best of all was the feeling of not being a tourist!! Maybe some of you can’t understand what I am talking about, but believe me, this is extremely important for a total experience of any city and not many realize it until they try it.
.
Anyway, I just wanted to conclude these 10 days we had here with a big, huge, uncounted THANK YOU!! To all the people who helped us with all the details of this trip (I don’t mention all of you again), I was so happy to see you all again and to get to know new ones on the way. You’ve all been amazing and I already told you this 528941 times!!
P.S. Don’t miss me too much, you’ll see me again soon! 😄 Love you!

بالقاهرة ونيلها وطول ليلها
وأغانيها ومواويلها وحكاويها آه يا جمالها
القاهرة تجيلها تحنّلها
وتهواها ما تنساها وتتحاكى بأحوالها

Once you visit it, you fall in love with it, you never forget it, you miss it, you tell its beautiful stories ❤ Cairo has a magic that will trap you...you have to trust me and to give it a try at least once in your life!! Better go there and explore it by yourself rather than hearing about it or seeing photos on social media/ books. Go for that trip that will get you completely out of your comfort zone! Yes, challenging most probably, but the best you could have!!
.
I know it sounds pretty much as an advertising, but it’s the least I can do and people around me know how much I promoted this country and its attractions since my first visit here. I am extremely happy to see that some chose it after my recommendations and others are still asking me a lot about it and how they can make it. I should open a tour agency in Cairo.. I know 🙌😄
.
Plus, what can I do.. I drunk from the Nile, I will always come back to this city! 😉
