ABSolute truth about your core - 🗣Let me be clear: You 🚫CANNOT spot-reduce body 🐖 fat in specific areas of your body by training that body part MORE often. If someone ever tells you that you'll lose your gut by performing abdominal exercises, 👋🤨 slap that person in the face and then explain to him or her that it's IMPOSSIBLE to control where body fat comes off your body. ⚠️Just kidding 😆. Don’t really smack them.⚠️ — The only way to strip the fat from your abs is by 🐢 slowly and gradually 🔥 burning it off from your entire body through🏃♀️cardio, 🍎 nutrition, and 🏋️♂️ resistance training. — To 🔮 reveal abdominal definition, and possibly a six-pack, most 🚹 men need to achieve a body fat percentage of about 6 to 9 percent; 🚺 women need to reach about 16 to 19 percent body fat. — Believe it or not, you actually ALREADY⚡️activate your abs doing many other exercises like squats, deadlifts, military presses, etc. Even though you might not be directly training your abs, they still get stimulation during compound and unilateral lifts. — So focus more on 💪 athletics vice 🤳 aesthetics, keep ⚙️ grinding, and 🙏 trust the process. — FYI: I do ZERO sit-up or crunches.
This season has been completely different. Not so much as being difficult..just not the same as the seasons before. The level of energy was greater when I had my brothers beside me. Several have moved on, traveling a different path towards the same goal. For that, I’ve had to truly hone in mentally..and hold myself solely accountable. Regardless..I move forward..continue training..and utilize the knowledge that each and every one of them gave me along the way. DM: Coco, how come you don’t wear stringers anymore? Me: Say no more. — Last off-season, I did a dirty bulk and it wasn’t my best decision. I had all sorts of issues. Bloating, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, greasy skin and insulin resistance to name a few. — This off-season, I’m on a lean bulk and the difference is significant. All of my levels are normal, body fat percentage is under control and I’m able to function at an optimized level while gaining increased strength and muscle mass. — Now, I’m not saying that dirty bulking is the wrong thing..it just doesn’t work for me.
