Smokey carrot lox 🥕 Recipe: 3-4 medium carrots 1-2 tbsp avocado oil 1 tsp Liquid smoke or hickory 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp salt Pepper to taste Steps: Preheat oven to 325F Peel carrots thinly using a peeler Steam them for 5-7 minutes Add the steamed carrots to a bowl with the remaining ingredients and mix Add them to a baking sheet and cook for 10 minutes. Allow to cool Optional garnishes: Fresh parsley or dill Serve on toast or bagels with cream cheeze 🌿

Guilt-free almond-date bliss balls ✨ Ingredients: 1 cup of rolled oats 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp ceylon cinnamon 1 tbsp hemp hearts 1 tbsp flax 2 tbsp raw almond butter 15-20 dates Water/dairy-free milk Chopped almonds Unsweetened shredded coconut Method: Add the oats, flax, vanilla, hemp hearts to a blender or processor. Blend until the oats are coarsely chopped and well combined with the other ingredients. Add in the pitted dates and almond butter and process again. Add a tbsp or 2 of water or dairy-free milk to help combine the ingredients (I used warm water). Once you have a batter like consistency roll into balls (use about 1/2 tbsp per ball) and top with chopped almonds and coconut. Store in the freezer in an airtight container for up to a week. Protein powder would also work great in these! #refinedsugarfree
