🙌🏼Today I had the BEST workout partner ❤️ : 🏋🏻♂️🏋🏻♀️my life trainer & personal coach, she’s kind and neatly organized, she pushes me to give the extra mile, makes me laugh & smile every single day, she’s the reason I wake up every day to give it all I have & the future mother of our children... What else can I ask for? ☝🏼Even though she’s not into fitness as much (and that’s perfectly fine because she complements me) when we train together it’s the best!
Any words of encouragement for my wifey @natitorogomez on her own fitness journey?👇🏼👇🏼 comment below!
📖 READ MORE - My goal this year: 1 BOOK per month!
Want to know one habit ultra-successful people have in common?
They read. A lot.
In fact, when Warren Buffett was once asked about the key to success, he pointed to a stack of nearby books and said, “Read 500 pages like this every day. That’s how knowledge works. It builds up, like compound interest. All of you can do it, but I guarantee not many of you will do it.” Buffett takes this habit to the extreme — he read between 600 and 1000 pages per day when he was beginning his investing career, and still devotes about 80 percent of each day to reading.
And he’s not alone. Here are just a few top business leaders and entrepreneurs who make reading a major part of their daily lifestyle: • Bill Gates reads about 50 books per year, which breaks down to 1 per week • Mark Cuban reads more than 3 hours every day • Elon Musk is an avid reader and when asked how he learned to build rockets, he said “I read books.” • Mark Zuckerberg resolved to read a book every 2 weeks throughout 2015 • Oprah Winfrey selects one of her favorite books every month for her Book Club members to read and discuss
And these aren’t just isolated examples.
A study of 1,200 wealthy people found that they all have reading as a pastime in common.
But successful people don’t just read anything. They are highly selective about what they read, opting to be educated over being entertained. They believe that books are a gateway to learning and knowledge... #wisdom#selfeducation#readmore
CHALLENGE THE STATUS QUOTE 🛑 I’ve always heard the phrase: “HARD WORK PAYS OFF”. But really?
I’ve realized that as a society we have these “cliche” phrases that become an illusion unless consistent massive action is taken to make them coherent. We can get a tattoo or a framed quote embossed with 24K gold. But unless there’s a decision to consistently “WALK THE TALK” it becomes useless.
You can work hard a day and then have a messy week. You can work hard a week and have a messy weekend. That’s why dedication is so important. And this is applicable to fitness, nutrition, our jobs, relationships, finances, education, etc.
IN REALITY: hard work ONLY pays off with total dedication. This means consistently push beyond our comfort zones, pushing the extra mile, with the best attitude, day in and day out. Not for 21 days, 60 days or 90 days but until it transforms from a habit to a core belief that defines our human integrity.
Been there done that | #realitycheck | I’ve been in my fittest version & I’ve gained weight (even in the same year), I’ve been in my greatest attitude and lost it because of a circumstance, I’ve been in a peaceful state and lost it in a snap, I’ve had the best friendships and lost them... and then had to rebuild them. Life hits hard and you can see it as a punisher or the greatest mentor (it’s optional), I’ve learned that failing is 100% necessary for growth. The question then becomes how do we interpret these “failures” & quickly get back up with a winner attitude?
VISUALIZE, PLAN, EXECUTE, FAIL FORWARD, LEARN, PERSEVERE ➡️ Rinse & repeat!
🍽“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” ~ Ben Franklin / even when we eat on point sometimes we don’t get the results because of our workout routine, sleeping habits and stress levels. Trust me when I tell you this, been there done that. However if we don’t plan then we won’t get the results for sure. And even if we get them how will we duplicate them without measuring? PLANNING STARTS TODAY! Agree? #eatclean#mealprep#healthy#nutrition
#nofilterneeded TGIM: after ups 👆🏼and downs👇🏼, hardships and good times. I’ve learned that we ALL have 1 lifetime and each one of us have circumstances to face, storms to survive, bridges to cross, winters and springs to live. Living these experiences is obligatory. But ... enjoying, learning and growing through these phases is OPTIONAL! #tgim#mondaymotivation
☀️ Mid-MORNING TEA 🍵 BOOST: affirmations become our self-beliefs.
We usually repeat I AM to self sabotage ourselves and I WANT for things that we don’t have and want to achieve. However if we see life as a journey towards becoming then we can change the I WANT for I AM, present tense help us live in the present while achieving our goals and becoming in an open state.
These are some of my affirmations:
I AM healthy
I AM wealthy
I AM powerful
I AM positive
I AM courageous ....
What are yours?

˜”*°•.˜”*°• BE FIERCE, NATURE AS A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION 🌳: •°*”˜.•°*”˜ If you’ve been following me for a while you might know that I love animals. I even wanted to be a veterinarian when I was a kid... Somehow things changed and I decided to pursue a different path.
My biggest problem has probably never been about being passionate, it’s probably that I love too many things and I have only 1 lifetime LOL that’s why I put my health at the highest priority since I’d like to be enjoying life fully no matter what the 📆 says... •I admire apex predators like 🐆Big Cats because these animals face hardships, they must survive insane weather conditions, fight competition, develop their instinct to their very peak in order to perform at their very best and best the odds. This means chasing an antelope or a gazelle at over 60 mph to fully launch at them at top speed in order to make a successful kill. •Yet they have a success rate of 50% which is super-high... but 50% of the time their kills are stolen by stronger predators so it’s a 3/10 success rate. In the evolution of the species strength had to be sacrificed for speed to achieve top performance! •WHAT ARE WE WILLING SACRIFICING TODAY IN ORDER TO BECOME? BAD HABITS, COMFORT, INSTANT GRATIFICACION? Whenever we talk about wildlife the word COURAGE never comes to mind since it’s a survivalist instinct these animals either dare or die. However in humanity we’ve been so isolated from everything else (including nature), that it is necessary for us to burst the bubble look at our comfort levels in the eye and with courage dare to become better, stronger, wiser.
