trying to simplify my closet/home/life for about the 20th time...this past year I've really been trying to pull myself out of this consumerism mindset that I need more and more and more. that I need to buy trendy clothing pieces to fit in and be validated. I need to buy cheap clothing that lasts a month or two so that I can have a full closet. no...what I NEED is to be intentional with the things I buy. this month, I'm really working on my mindset and my heart towards buying stuff. I only want to shop if it's needed, and I want to try my best to support ethical and sustainable companies 💪🏼
my forever boyfriend ❣️ we celebrated our dating anniversary with an all day date day and pitched our tent in our living room and it was just the best. I love ya boo #bishopandchristinag#bestiefortherestie
cleaned and treated my fine leather goods this evening -
trying to get out of the consumerism mindset that I constantly need new stuff. don't get me wrong, I like shopping and getting new things but really I don't NEED that much stuff. I'd rather invest in well-made pieces and take good care of them. 👌🏼#takecareofyostuff
at the beginning of 2018, one of my main goals was to pursue a non-toxic lifestyle. when doing research and trying to learn as much as I can- I came across these little bottles of goodness! the more I researched, the more I learned about the benefits of essential oils and I started incorporating them into my life. now I can't get enough! they're fun to use, smell amazing, and have more uses than I can count on both hands!
I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea 🤷🏼♀️, so I created a separate Instagram to post about my journey with clean living!
