Awesome progress for my online lifestyle client @kambam92 . She came to me wanting to grow with a main focus on her Glutes/legs. There’s about 4 months in between these pictures. She currently is eating 2 cheat meals a week and a very good amount of food that continues to go up 🙌🏽 She sets a great example of living a healthy lifestyle. Today I am grateful. Grateful that I have the life that I do and am able to do the things that I love. I look back at the girl who started this journey and I remember looking at people in this industry and wishing I could do what they did. I am blessed to be able to be a bodybuilder and be able to train and help some amazing people. I am blessed to wake up every day and help people learn the lessons that I have learned through this sport and within fitness. I truly am grateful that I was given the ability to work and make choices about what ambitions and dreams i wanted to pursue (when others aren’t lucky enough to have that choice). Today I just feel genuinely happy to be engaged to an amazing man @jasen_kohli and being able to pursue so many goals of mine. While i encourage the “always hungry, never satisfied” mindset, its also important to always remember where you started and never take anything for granted. #Grateful
Offseason progress 💪🏼 There is so much that goes into this sport. And in my opinion the number one ingredient is time. You can’t rush this. No matter how bad you want it, no matter how hard you work for it, and no matter how much you think you deserve it. Bodybuilding has a way of humbling you. It has a way of teaching you patience and dedication. There are goals you can kill yourself over and still not be able to reach them because you haven’t put in the time. This is more than a sport that you can do for a year or two and be good at (minus those few genetic freaks). This is a sport that you have to live, every moment or every day for YEARS until your truly able to achieve something in it. There is no true break from it, you have to live it. That’s the only way.
Since everyone is posting a #transformationtuesday today, I will too 😬 I wish I could truly project to you all what it took to get from the girl on the left to the girl on the right. But the best way to explain it is this... the girl on the left was living for the approval of others, while the girl on the right is living for herself and only herself. My biggest message I can portray is this... follow your heart. No matter how many people don’t believe in you, no matter how many so called “friends” you loose, and no matter how much absolute shit you have to go through. Don’t give up. Because in the journey of chasing your dreams, you just might find yourself 💕
Overall 17 week transformation for @megg_janet_fit finishing with a 1st place. Truly a great example of what happens when you put your head down, work, communicate, and execute. She lives all the way across the country from me and we were able to have such a successful prep because of how open she was with communication.
