Happy #nationalcatday to this little loaf! Cedar is our friendly neighborhood tuxedo cat who has made our hotel grounds something of a second home. We offered him a position of Official Greeter and he enthusiastically accepted. Chris Pratt once tried to take a photo of him while staying with us, but instead of greeting Chris, Cedar just kind of sat there. Starstruck, probably.
Now that fall has truly arrived, it's time to hunker down and cozy up with a blissful appointment at our spa. There's no cure for a rainy day quite like a fluffy robe, a massage, and a glass of wine, wouldn't you say?
We figured if we placed a fall cocktail and some seasonal vegetables next to Rusty the maple tree, fall might actually arrive. Kind of like a rain dance, but a "fall dance" instead. Results so far have been mixed; Seattle summer still persists.
Still want to sit outside despite the cold during your stay? We've got umbrellas, a fireplace, and powerful space heaters installed on the terrace. Mother Nature's handiwork won't stop you from enjoying a cocktail in the great outdoors!
It was a tomato bonanza at Cedarbrook Lodge this weekend! Stormy weather wasn't going to stop this party, so we took the show indoors for our 8th annual celebration of this versatile culinary ingredient. Local chefs put their creativity on display with tomato-based bites, and guests were treated to live music as well as our signature Bloody Mary bar. A delicious time was had by all!

It's #nationalhousekeepingweek this week, which means it's time to celebrate! A huge thank you to our wonderful housekeeping team for all of the amazing work that you do to give incredible experiences to our guests. Now it's time for games, group photos, and of course, plenty of cookies (thanks, @folkvangrcookies!)!
