My jewelry line @parletteijewelry was inspired by my work with titanium in sculptures. Titanium is an amazing medium for jewelry- it’s lightweight, durable, and takes on amazing colors when heated. .

TAKING FLIGHT // This piece features 3 flying fish flying over water. When I’m out fishing I always love watching these fish. It’s fascinating watching them take off and glide for so long over the water. .
The fish are made from bronze, local Sycamore wood, and titanium for the eye. The base is Parota wood. .
This piece is currently on display and for sale @festivalpageant , come by and check it out until September 1st.

Titanium butterflies with Quillobordon wood. This piece belongs to my sister Robin. This was one of the first titanium pieces I made and was excited about the vivid colors that the metal displayed when heated. This piece definitely led me on the path towards making @parletteijewelry . The wood was shipped from some friends in Peru and the natural gold color was the perfect contrast for the blue butterflies 🦋
One of my favorite things to do when I have some spare time is make Brooks (18 months) things to play with. This is a magnetic fishing pole made by @tangerinetoys with fish I made from various wood scraps.
