Around age 2 we stopped being short order cooks. We stopped giving into demands for Mac and cheese and french fries 🍟. We started making a meal for the family with the expectation what what we ate is what she eats as well. It hasn’t been easy #threenager There’s been #meltdowns and nights where she hasn’t eaten her meal 🥘. The rule is that don’t have to like it, but you have to try it. With a little #consistency she now asks for #pineapple#watermelon#raspberries#carrots#peppers and other healthy staples. It’s till a battle, but for the healthiest version of you and for lifelong #healthyhabits it’s worth it
I wanted to share with all of you my before and after for the first 2 phases thus far in my round two of #80dayobsession
Both pics I have GAINED weight (a total of 8 pounds now) and LOST 4 inches over all. Some may be like “uhhh you gained weight?” Yep!
I gained back some muscle. The back story is that in the first round of 80 Day around week 2 of phase 3 my appendix ruptured, yes ruptured and I had to have emergency surgery. I spent about a month sidelined and lost over 10 pounds due to not eating and the lack of activity. I was a gymnast 🤸♀️ for 20 years so I’m pretty beefy to begin with lol.
I’m happy I gained it back and LEANED out. I’m not flabby and I FEEL STRONG! 💪. The scale SUCKS. It doesn’t tell us everything, most would see the number and think that I failed, but those abs I see peeking through, the reduced scar tissue on my appendectomy scar, and surviving with that fluid in me for who knows how long (I waited almost a week to go in cause I thought it was the flu and no my ride side did not hurt and no vomiting). That’s progress, that’s strength
You’ve got this!!! #autumncalabrese#obsessed#getobsessedwithtoday#coach
