Sunshine-y Saturdays call for sunshine-y shoes.
Say hello to my newest @toms. 😁 I love them so much. They're probably my most comfortable pair.
Of course, I also paired it with fun accessories. In this case, a fruit purse. 🍍🍉🍋🥝 This bag has quickly become one of my summer favorites.
Earlier this week, I heard a person describe optimism as understanding that challenge is inevitable, but defeat is optional.
That description resonated with me so much.
It's not about this false, naive sense that everything is good all the time. It's about choosing to push through your circumstances and find joy. ☀️

You don't have to be on the People team to be an advocate of company culture. Whether you realize it or not, you are an active participant. You're either a positive one or negative one. That is entirely up to you.
Street views like this may not be in store for me today, but I am looking forward to getting some normalcy back into my life. Aka, back to the office I go...
It was at this restaurant that I had delicious seafood gumbo and my first taste of alligator. I'm not an adventurous person when it comes to trying new foods, but I figured if I was going to try alligator, New Orleans was the place to do it. 👌
Late post from inside St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans
Cathedrals have some of the most beautiful architectural detailing. 😍
Side note: I'm back in the Bay now, and, dare I say it, I'm kind of missing the warmer weather. Coming back to the Bay Area after trips to Hawaii and Louisiana is an adjustment for me from a temperature standpoint. I'm getting a little wimpy with handling cooler temperatures. 😅
I'll be posted up in a hotel conference room today, so here's another one from yesterday.
The clouds came in threatening to sprinkle some rain, but it cleared up. Other than that, the weather reminded me of Hawaii on a really humid day. Not fun, but I wasn't about to let that deter me from walking around the city.
