If you're the only thing I ever get for Christmas, then everything I wished for has come true! You're the single item on my list, my one and only Christmas wish...πŸŽ…πŸ€Άβ™₯️

One of my fondest memories in most recent years occurred around 4 years ago. I had just finished a 16 hour shift at work, and stopped out to the nursing home to visit my Nana before heading home. I remember that particular day she was sadder than usual. When I asked her what was wrong, she looked up at me and said "Brandon I'm just so tired of being inside all day and living through a window. Hell I can't even wipe my own ass anymore." Anyone who knew my great-grandmother knew that she was....independent and brutally honest to say the least haha but filled with so much love. When I heard her say this I have to admit, it broke my heart. The doctors weren't allowing her to go outside because of her recent broken hip. But seeing how sad she was, I decided to talk to her nurse whom I had grown to know quite well and explained to her exactly what was happening. I wanted to take Nana outside just for a stroll (snow had been falling all day) and obviously the nurse was hesitant and told me that we weren't allowed to but then gave me a wink and said, "you have 10 minutes." I'll never forget the look on my Nana's face when I wheeled her out the back door of the memorial home and pushed her wheelchair around the sidewalk as the snow fell. It was the first time I'd seen her smile for months. Pushing her around and seeing her reach out for the snow and then reach back and grab my hand on the handle and say "Sweetie thank you" is a memory I'll always hold dear to my heart. Looking back now, that was my last actual memory with her before she passed away (She died 2 weeks later). So ever since then on the first real snow fall of every year, I take a walk and remember so fondly that moment we shared in the snow that afternoon. So yesterday, we took a walk. Love and miss her everyday, but the memories, boy the memories will always be there. Happy Holidays everyone! Don't forget to hug those you love a little tighter this year. ❄⛄❀

I've reached the conclusion long ago, that we don't deserve pets.... Party with pets at the Columbus Humane tonight was such a great time! 🐈🐾β™₯

Back in 2009, I fell in love with The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Swiss trilogy. Noomi Rapace was absolutely incredible as Salander. So when they announced a US franchise a few years later I have to admit I was excited for the possibilities. But sadly, those possibilities fell far short of what I was hoping. But after seeing the latest addition this afternoon, I have to say my excitement has been reignited. For starters, Foy is transcendent and riveting as Elisabeth Salander in this film. She brings her vigor and flare and just down right badassery to the screen in a whole new way (although Rapace will always be my favorite to play this character). She has brought her own unique twist to this beloved character, and I feel the future of the franchise is now very strong! This film really has it all. Good pacing, solid story line, twists and turns, brilliant performances and action sequences along with solid cinematography and sound editing makes the girl in the spiders web a fast paced and thought provoking good time for all movie goers! After today, the future looks mighty bright! 9.5/10! πŸ™ŒπŸŽ¬

Sometimes no matter how hard I try, the smile I always wear just won't show. Received the disheartening news tonight that my pops has Parkinson's disease. I had hoped we were out of the woods since his leukemia diagnosis last year, but today just further affirmed that's not the case. No matter the diagnosis or road we have left to travel, the memories and love I have for this guy right here is without measure. How do I properly say thank you to a man that has given me everything I needed growing up when my real father chose to bow out...I doubt I'll ever know how to repay that. But looking back at these many precious memories make me thankful for the time shared and the memories we have still to make. Love you pops. Let's make the most of the time we have left... β™₯πŸ˜₯

If you have $86,400 in your account and someone stole $10 from you. Would you be upset and throw all of the $86,390 away in hopes of getting back at the person that took your $10? Or move on and live? Right, move on and live. See, we have 86,400 seconds in every day so don’t let someone’s negative 10 seconds ruin the rest of the 86,390. Don’t sweat the small stuff, life is bigger than that. β™₯🍁
