After 7 days of vacation, I’m up 5 lbs. I knew it would happen and I was prepared. I ate as keto as I could in Costa Rica and I moved my body but I also ate some shared desserts and bread. Oh and pineapple! Damn the pineapple is awesome there. I always bloat up after vacation and the weight always comes right back off plus a little more I hope. So I’m fasting for as long as I can today and then it’s right back to keto.
My knees and hips always ache after I eat carbs and sugar and whew boy the gas! I rarely have gas or heartburn eating keto. I used to eat 4-6 tums a day and other than the weight loss and improved triglycerides & cholesterol, having no heart burn has been what keeps me keto. I personally like not feeling like shit. It’s a shame I didn’t even know I felt bad until I didn’t feel bad anymore.
So I’m back to work tomorrow with over 300 emails to sort. I know it’s going to be a rough day and I’ve got to go through the keto flu again next week. I’d like to take a moment to apologize to my husband in advance. .
